In Much Less Detail: The Podcast

It was a week of pain with many significant injuries headlining the day.  Jay and Dre examine the maladies and talk about the complete lack of defense in New Orleans and the lack of presence by the Packers in Denver.  Then they make their predictions for a primetime Battle of Ohio between a beat-up Jake McClown's Cleveland Browns and the still undefeated Cincinnati Bengals. The guys get into the picks for Week 7 in the league.  On the docket:  the Pats try to stay perfect hosting the impressive Jets, the Panthers try to stay undefeated versus the unpredictable Eagles, Matt Cassel debuts as the new Cowboys signal caller against the G-Men, and in the Internet Bowl that no one will watch, the Bills and Jaguars battle in London on Yahoo!.  In the aftershow, Dre ponders a world without nude women in Playboy. Jay and Dre have all your picks for NFL Week 6, which has the Panthers trying to stay undefeated in the hell that is Seattle's home field, the Packers trying to stay undefeated as they host the Bolts, the Bengals trying to stay undefeated as they visit Rex Ryan's Bills, and of course, the Patriots trying to stay undefeated and avenge DeflateGate as they visit Naptown.  In the aftershow, Dre shares his totally not gay tale of visiting a bathhouse.   Theme music credit:  "Breaking Bad" by Jahzzar   CC BY-SA 3.0

The boys reflect on a week in which the Bears and Saints finally won, the Cardinals finally lost (and the Broncos, almost), and the Falcons, Panthers, Packers, and Bengals remained flawless.  Then they make their pick for the Thursday night AFC South tangle between Indianapolis, who may have their leader Andrew Luck, and Houston, who will have Captain America, J.J. The first sunup-to-sundown Sunday in the NFL happens in Week 4, and the boys have their picks for all the games, including the Jets and Dolphins doing battle in England, Atlanta trying to stay perfect versus J.J. Jay and Dre dig into how screwed the Cowboys, Saints and Steelers are, how screwed the Dolphins, Ravens and Lions might be, how revived the Colts, Eagles and Seahawks looked, and how awesome the Patriots, Cardinals, Bengals, and Broncos may or may not be.  Then the guys choose sides for the Thursday night AFC North brawl between Joe Flacco's Baltimore bunch and Michael Vick's Pittsburgh crew.   Theme music credit:  "Breaking Bad" by Jahzzar

A fantastic football Sunday for Jay sees him take down the vast majority of games versus Dre.  The guys try to make some sense out of the Cowboys losing a franchise player every week and still winning, the two-time NFC champs dropping two straight, the Saints searching for that previously undeniable home-field advantage, and Johnny Football actually ballin'.  Then they break down the NFC East Thursday nighter between the Redskins and the Giants.   Theme music credit:  "Breaking Bad&qu

Jay and Dre come off winning weeks against the spread ready to dig into the sometimes mysterious Week 2 in the league.  They will look ahead to the Patriots traveling to face the hateful Rex Ryan and the Bills, the 49ers off their Monday night surprise visiting the Steelers, another NFC East fireworks display as the Dez-less Cowboys face the Eagles, and the Seahawks going into a very hostile Green Bay in a conference title game rematch.   Theme music credit:  "Breaking Bad" by Jahzzar
