Jay and Dre try to have an early Sunday football party, if Blog Talk Radio is actually functioning. They give their awards for NFL Week 3 before making picks for the coming Week 4 mere hours away. Jordan Love looks to return for the Packers as they host the perfect Vikings, Justin Herbert looks to limp around again for the Chargers as they host the perfect Chiefs, Lamar Jackson and the Ravens try to build on the Dallas destruction as they host the perfect Bills, and on Monday the Dolphins trot out their 3rd quarterback in three weeks as they host the winless Titans, while the perfect Seahawks go to Motown for a wild one against the Lions.   Music: "Power Shot" by Eugenemeyers

The football party will be live and poppin' for Dre, though they will be drowsy due to the early morning timing. He has the proper Week 2 awards before previewing Week 3 in the NFL. Malik Willis may get a chance to avenge his Tennessee career, unless Jordan Love bounces back to start for Green Bay. Philadelphia goes to the Big Easy to try and stop the New Orleans juggernaut. The boys are back with a new show open from Jay, last year's handicapping champion, and they're ready to forecast the rest of Week 1 in the NFL. The Caleb Williams Era opens in Chicago as they host Tennessee, while the Bears' old 1st-round QB Justin Fields leads Pittsburgh into Atlanta. Jay and Dre open their twelfth season of the podcast previewing the NFL 2024 campaign. Once again, the league is trying to solve the problem that is Reid, Mahomes and the Chiefs. Will Kansas City pull off the 3-peat? Who will stop them? And what division and playoff picks are good (or bad) investments? No matter how much one tries to expect the unexpected at the NFL Draft, the surprises and shockers still make waves throughout the sports world, and this year's version in Motown was no different. While WWE has done much better at storytelling the last few years than they had been doing, there are still some plots that have left fans wondering what's going on. The Bloodline got stretched finally beyond its breaking point when the Usos jumped out and back in several times. Cody Rhodes got screwed out of winning the title last year and finishing his story, only to win the Royal Rumble again and get another chance, but that's been intertwined with The Rock seemingly sticking his nose into the title picture. And Roman Reigns carries on as forever champion. No one expects the Los Angeles Dodgers to suffer greatly from the distraction that Shohei Ohtani and his interpreter's betting habits have provided. But what exactly is to be made of the situation surrounding the newest richest ballplayer? Jay and Dre consider that and other offseason moves by baseball teams looking to chase after the World Series champion Rangers and NL champion Diamondbacks. After a one-year hiatus, Jay and Dre present their one (and only) bracket for the men's college basketball tournament. The tireless Dre will attend the Friday and Sunday sessions in Memphis charting data for the 1st and 2nd round games. So for the first time, he'll get to see some of his crappy picks nosedive live right in front of his face. Will Jay once again have the better bracket? In this year's diverse field for Best Picture, the biggest surprise is usually which crappy Netflix film somehow got nominated. For the second time in four years, Kyle Shanahan's 49ers were beating Andy Reid's Chiefs in the Big Game by two possessions. But for the second time in four years, Patrick Mahomes II seized the opportunity to rally the troops and add to his legacy as possibly the best to ever play football. This time, it gave Jay the handicapping victory over Dre, the opposite of 2020. After two weeks of KelSwift, Mahomes legacy and Kermit voice, Purdy legacy and Oswald face, and Vegas all-time price gouging (reportedly), it's finally time to get ready for the actual game. Jay and Dre give out awards for Championship Sunday and the Big Game run-up before Jay has all the pressure of making the pick that can break Dre's near-decade run of winning their handicapping contest. Championship Sunday this year will feature four teams worthy of title contention: the two top seeds, the most hyped team coming into this season, and the defending champions. Jay and Dre give out the awards for last week's action-filled Divisional Round, then they break down the conference title games. Do they like the resurgent Chiefs or the rock-steady Ravens? Wild Card Weekend was indeed wild, with youngbloods pulling off upsets, the harshest of winter conditions, and a 10-1 team completing their slow death. Jay and Dre hand out the deserving awards for last weekend's events before previewing a red-hot Divisional Round. Lamar Jackson leads top seeded Baltimore as they battle scrappy Houston. Brock Purdy's top seed San Francisco hosts the devil-may-care squad from Green Bay. Baker Mayfield will try to take Tampa Bay to another improbable W as they challenge Jared Goff in Detroit. The first round of this year's NFL playoffs will be defined by who can suck it up and play at a high quality in brutally cold conditions, that is, if they can take the field at all. Jay and Dre recap the best and worst of the final Sunday of the regular season, then get you prepared for Super Mega Wicked Wild Card Weekend Yay Sports! In their traditional Saturday afternoon spot is the AFC South champion Texans, who host Joe Flacco and the dangerous Browns. The high-flying Dolphins try to not get grounded in subzero conditions visiting Taylor Swift's Chiefs. On Sunday, the Steelers without EDGE TJ Watt try to stop the streaking Bills under arctic climes. The nothing-to-lose Packers try to hang another embarrassing postseason L on the Cowboys. Matthew Stafford leads his new besties, the Rams, into his old home, Motown, as they challenge the Lions.
