American Vybe 2
15/10/2007 Duration: 31minToday’s memory is a continuation from memory 20. We are returning today to the American Pavilion for two more sets of American Vybe for my friend Brian of the Mousin’ It Up Podcast. He wrote me a while ago asking if I had any streetmosphere audio. Unfortunately, I don’t have anything that I would consider streetmosphere, so instead we’re visiting the now extinct group, American Vybe. Show notes: https://wdw-memories.net/2007/10/14/memory-021/

American Vybe 1
06/09/2007 Duration: 21minToday’s episode was requested before my hard drive broke. Today’s request came from Brian of the Mousin’ It Up Podcast. He wrote me asking if I had any streetmosphere audio. Unfortunately, I don’t have anything that consider streetsmosphere, so instead I’m going to do a show which I’m sure he would like anyway. Tonight we’re going to catch the American Vybe. The Haunted Mansion
24/08/2007 Duration: 16minToday’s episode has been requested by multiple individuals. Today we take a ride through The Haunted Mansion. I don’t remember who exactly requested this first, but I remember receiving at least 3 different emails. So what would be better to get this show going again than one of my favorite attractions. Besides being an entertaining ride, it’s always cool, the line moves well, and the Cast Members obviously love what they’re doing. Show notes: https://wdw-memories.net/2007/08/23/memory-019/

Memory 018a - Information Update
22/08/2007 Duration: 03minHello, and welcome to a special information episode of the Walt Disney World Memories Podcast. My name is Lou, and I’ll once again be your host. Today’s show is a bit different from the norm. I feel I owe you an explanation as to why there haven’t been any shows for the past month. Well, about a month ago, the worst thing that could possibly happen to the podcast did. I dropped my laptop and broke my hard drive to the point where it was no longer readable. Now the data was able to be retrieved, but it has cost me more than what I initially paid for the laptop. The worst part is, that hard drive was the only place I had for my Disney World Audio archives (i.e. I no longer have audio to play). I also lost all your emails with your requests and consequently my planned show schedule. I know your probably thinking, “Lou why not just record some more audio on your next trip to Disney World?” Well the answer is simple really. My next trip probably won’t be for a couple more years. Traci and I are expecting the birth

IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth
04/07/2007 Duration: 20minThis episode is little late because I just got back from a week vacation to a part of the country where Cell Phones, Computers, and Internet were not a part of everyday life. Traci and I just spent a week in Greenville, Maine near Moosehead Lake (that's in Northern Maine). Out here, we hiked, slept, and ate and just had one of the most relaxing vacations ever. The people were AMAZINGLY friendly, the weather reached highs of only 75, and every day we saw at least one Moose. Actually, we saw 23 moose, 8 loons, 1 bear, 1 beaver, dozens of deer, chipmunks, and red squirrels, and enough birds to keep a birder glued to their binoculars the entire time. Best part of all, it was CHEAP. But this isn’t a podcast about Maine, it’s about Walt Disney World, so if you’d like to know more about our trip to Maine, and maybe want to vacation there yourself, email me and I’ll send you some information and links to help get you started. Now back to the show. Show notes: https://wdw-memories.net/2007/07/04/memory-018/

Today’s audio was recorded in December our anniversary trip to Disney, and is in binaural sound so headphones on again. Show notes: https://wdw-memories.net/2007/06/17/memory-017/

The Wonders of Life Pavilion
30/03/2007 Duration: 54minToday’s episode was suggested to me by Luke Manning of the Everything Disney podcasts. His request was The Wonders of Life Pavilion in Epcot. In his email to me, Luke said: "I was wondering if you could play some audio from the Wonders of Life pavilion. I know you were there in December, so u might have some. If not, then I'd also like to hear Journey into Imagination with Figment. Yeah, they're both Epcot... my favorite park. It holds a enormous place in my heart.". Pirates of the Caribbean
16/03/2007 Duration: 14minToday’s audio is yet another recording I made while on vacation last December. Therefore, it’s the latest incarnation of Pirates, now staring Jack Sparrow. I like the way this came out, you can really pick up the ambient sounds. Listen to the group sitting behind me discussing if the first Jack is really him. I am still amazed at this AA. Kilimanjaro Safaris
02/03/2007 Duration: 28minThis audio is a little older and only in stereo, but I like it better than my current binaural recordings. I like it cause I’ve actually got a driver from South Africa, and it was shortly after it opened, so all the frills were still new and working. I recorded this back in 2001 when I was in Orlando for a convention and able to slip away for some fun at the parks. It will kind of jump strait in at loading and we’ll be off. The Voices of Liberty
14/02/2007 Duration: 49minThe audio you’re about to hear was all recorded while on our recent anniversary trip to WDW, and a subsequent trip for my birthday. After hearing these performances, Traci said that she wanted these recordings on her iPod, well my love here you go. Show notes: https://wdw-memories.net/2007/02/14/memory-011/

Wishes Nighttime Spectacular
02/02/2007 Duration: 19minThe audio you're about to hear I recorded on a night just after new years just before returning home from our Christmas vacation in Florida. We staked out a spot just to the right of the Partners Statue in the hub. The music was a little soft there, and the view is partially blocked by the castle. I think if we were over just a bit more, it would have been perfect. In any case, the audio comes out good. I love how you can hear the audience responding to a beautiful shell, or when Tink flies over head. Just listening to this audio is making me smile. It's Tough To Be a Bug
19/01/2007 Duration: 16minThis episode features audio from It's Tough to be a Bug in the Animal Kingdom. You’re about to hear some great audio of the attraction I recorded in early December 2006 while on vacation with my wife Traci and her parents. We walked right up and through the doors in time for the start of the show. It’s fun to hear the response of the audience, but it wasn’t so crowded that you couldn’t hear the nuances of the show. Soarin'
03/12/2006 Duration: 18minThis episode features audio from Soarin' in Epcot. This was recorded on my business trip back in April. This audio is great quality, beginning with the pre-boarding announcement and then through the full attraction. Show notes: https://wdw-memories.net/2006/12/03/memory-007/

The American Adventure
19/11/2006 Duration: 35minThis episode features audio from The American Adventure in Epcot in celebration of Thanksgiving here in the United States. This was recorded on a family vacation back in August of 1999. The audio is fairly clean and is one of my favorite recordings of the attraction. Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
03/11/2006 Duration: 13minToday is a little early because I won't be near a computer on Sunday, but wanted to make sure it got out early. Today, like everyone else, I'm doing a scary attraction, but I'm not taking the obvious choice of the Haunted Mansion. I chose the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. This recording was also recorded on a recent business trip to Orlando. The audio came out pretty clean, since most everyone was watching Fantasmic! while I was riding rides. We start in the pre-show, hear a bit of the boiler room, and then ride the ride. Show notes: https://wdw-memories.net/2006/11/03/memory-005/
