We've put together the first collection of fabulous recorder songs from our premier Recorder Classroom magazine. Whatever the age or ability of your students, you'll find this an invaluable addition to your curriculum. In this kit, we combine Artie Almeida's great Recorder Classroom columns for teachers everywhere. As a matter of fact, there is so much content here that we are breaking it into two jam-packed volumes, the first of which we are releasing this year. It stands on its own, as did each column, and is a must for teachers at any point in their careers.

This song is bold and assertive in its message and its style. It's also a lot of fun to sing and listen to! Written as the second song of the revue, Positive, it can easily be used outside of that venue since the lyrics are not specific to the revue. A program about character, for example, might benefit from this song.

It's the day before Christmas Eve and Santa is ready to take the reindeer on their annual test drive before the big day. But what's this? The reindeer can't fly?! Or... is it that they won't fly? Santa and the elves can't figure it out, but something is definitely wrong. Enter "The Reindeer Whisperer."

Second, it's actually educational, which makes it a stellar instrument of reinforcement for the value of music in all education.
