This Sunday we took the time to consider what areas of our lives we have become familiar in and where we perhaps don’t recognise or rely on Jesus.

This week Sarah looks at the question 'What does the scripture say?', and how it reveals the significance of committing to the Word of God.

Sarah continues our series 'Questions Jesus Asked', where this week she looks at the call to live life in the spirit, reaching out beyond the natural in order to be and do all that we are called to do.

Being in the middle of the story can be so hard, but what if Jesus is who He says He is? This week Andy and Lucy open Exodus 34 and share stories about the relentless loving kindness of Jesus.

If you read the Gospel, Jesus asks lots of questions. Over the next couple of months we're going to be exploring some of these questions. This week Sarah looked at how even today Jesus still asks us “Who do you say I am?"

The apostle Paul called the church the body of Christ: an inter-connected, inter-dependent network made up of different parts, with their own unique calling, abilities and gifts – all under one head, Jesus! This week San kicks off the next season of City Groups called Life On Life, and he explores what an interconnected life looks like for us as Christians, and how we grow from living as relational beings.

This week we welcomed Stephen Backhouse from Tent Theology, as he helped us think about what it felt like to be with Jesus and be part of his Kingdom. Drawing on Mark chapter 5, Stephen explored the the dramatic statements Jesus made by who he chose to be associated with, and asks us if we are prepared to show our allegiance to Him too.

This week Phil shared from the story of Mary & Martha, in Luke 10, inviting us to sit at the feet of Jesus.

Last Sunday we were honoured to have Paul and Joy Blundell from Alive Church Lincoln speak to us. The Blundell’s look at how culture changes to meet issues that arise in society, often overcompensating and creating more problems. They explore the Church are called to stand and say we are the people to lead, and what that outworking looks like.

As we move into the next phase of Project Home, Phil and Sarah share on how we can sow healthily and so that others will grow. This next season is filled with potential, and Phil and Sarah share some of the exciting prospects that it holds and how we can move together as a family over the coming months.

On Easter Sunday Santino shares the story of the resurrection and all that Jesus did for us on the cross, and the incredible significance it has on our lives and our world.

This week Abi finished off our series Significant Voices, exploring the women who have shaped history. She shared on the often-overlooked story Mary and some of the things we can learn from the life of this amazing woman.

This week Emma looked the small but significant role of Shiphrah and Puah in Exodus 1, who stood before the Pharaoh and defied his orders. This story teaches us what it means fear God, and Emma unpacks some of the things that stand in our way of becoming a people who fear God.

This week Lizete takes us into our second week of Significant Voices. She explores Luke Chapter 8 and the story of Jairus and the woman with the issue of blood. These stories show us how Jesus invites us to live in boldness and greatness.

We start off our Significant Voices series by looking at Deborah, whose story is found in Judges 4-5. We see through her life how one woman standing up made a difference for a whole nation, with an influence that lasted a generation.

We're excited to partner with Barnabus, an amazing charity who work to see an end to homeless in Manchester! Santino looks at Jesus' call to the serve Jesus by serving the poor and vulnerable, while Neil Cornthwaite, head of operations at Barnabus' drop in centre, shares a unique insight on working alongside the homeless in the city centre and shaping our city's strategy to tackle the issues involved - along with some inspiring stories of hope and transformation.

In this weeks podcast we're joined by guest speaker Teo Hayashi from Dunamis Movement in Brazil. He looks at Luke 9, the story of the feeding of the five thousand, and how we can be faithful in facing the problems of our lives.

This week Phil and Sarah looked at the connection between how we love and serve our city and contribute to a local church family.

For City Group Sunday we took a look at the theme of this season: what it means to be a 'gospel people.' Telling people about Jesus should be a natural response for the Christian, and in this week's podcast Santino takes a look at Matthew 28 and explores the primary purpose of the church, and how we're all part of God's unfolding story of salvation.

This week Sarah took at look at Paul’s prayer in Ephesians chapter 3 and considered the connection between being encountering the father, being found in his family and growing into fullness.
