While residing at a sober living home, Called “THE SAFE HOUSE”. Roommates had brought drugs into the residence. Later on Jarrod was discovered deceased from a heroin overdose. Unfortunately, his sober living home housed him and others in an illegal shed out in the backyard…unsupervised, and much too far out to hear his last gasping breaths JarrodsLaw.org is dedicated to making sure that this type of incident never happens again in another sober living home. We can do this by making sure that sober living homes are licensed and regulated by the city in order to protect the community and their residents.  Wendy McEntyre founded Jarrods Law to expose and change the way Sober Living Homes are operating in CA.

Steve Clark spent nearly 30 years in AA after being "diagnosed" as a teenager by a family member. Throughout what should have been his most productive years he barely ever got above water both professionally and personally. In 2009 he came clean about being an atheist in AA, and by 2012 his relationship with the organization began to deteriorate. After leaving AA his career and personal relationships are stable and rewarding.

We have been doing podcasts for six years now. March 2011 was my first show. Its been a long road to finishing the film The 13th Step and getting distribution.  After years of focusing on Exposing AA, its dangers and its alternatives, it dawned on me in London this year there were filmmakers I wanted to interview, artists I have wanted to promote. So now we will expand and talk about other topics to carry through my own interests and hopefully yours. I was a singer long before I became a filmmaker , activist. I love social change. He was interviewing a Professor in the Middle East who was explaining how people can get radicalized so fast. I was pulled in. Intrigued. So we watched. Sure enough the Professor talked about how switching from using the words "I and me" to "Us and We", a person starts to make differnent conections with the group being more important. A conversation with a Southern California local about forced attendence to AA and host Monica Richardson. Unknown to Monica when she began the work is that 1,4 million people are forced by DUI courts to attend AA. Pilots, Nurses and Doctors are forced too. Many more are made to join an org from the 1930's. How is this happening and how can we stop it?

We called NY GSO last week and the week before. We mailed our petition months ago with almost 500 signatures. But AA NY has not called me back yet. I heard they were having a Board Meeting last week. Yesterday a blogger posted the link on my Facebook group we have for Deprogramming from AA. This memo is a good beginning but still coming from a Multi Million dollar Non profit- Its total BS that they think they do not have to have a Sexual harassment Policy. They also need to get out of the FAA , The Board of Nursing and The ASAM> for Medical Doctors. Oh and btw you can be a rehab and not have any real over site. No medical staff. But INsurance will pay for your 1935 cult.
