Keeper Of The Birds,A long time AA member tells her horrific story of her son Thomas's death in January 2001.  A pedohpile ring in our southern states were targeting AA meetings and AA rehabs for young teenage boys. After 4 years the Federal Marshall's arressted her sons killer, molestor and rapist who included some 23 other sex offenders who were targeted these small AA meetings in rural towns and cities. This is my first uploaded podcast. It will not be live. I will have a live show next week on Wednesday, but I will begin to have only two live shows a month as I focus on the finishing of my Documentary Film.  This I hope will only take me 4 more months, but I need to focus. Ryan was 25. He lost his sister Sarah from Suicide last fall and I met him on the www.stinkin-thinkin.com site. The threads are still there.  Ryan and I became friends. I connected as a mom and as a freind. He told me about how angry he was after spending 2 years at an all 12 step treatment center that didnt help him at all with his mental and emotional issues.  Lots of phone converstions and emails and reading Ryan's posts as well as what he wrote on his own blog steppin on suicide. How many more people does AA/NA kill with suicide. I know many more. But No young person should ever step a foot in 12 step as I see it now. What if their child gets in trouble with Booze, pot, pills or even herion. Will they really send their teen away? What's gone wrong with our world.
