Tehilim Perek 37B
26/12/2017 Duration: 04min37 1 Of David. Do not be vexed by evil men; do not be incensed by wrongdoers; 2 for they soon wither like grass, like verdure fade away. 3 Trust in the LORD and do good, abide in the land and remain loyal. 4 Seek the favor of the LORD, and He will grant you the desires of your heart. 5 Leave all to the LORD; trust in Him; He will do it. 6 He will cause your vindication to shine forth like the light, the justice of your case, like the noonday sun. 7 Be patient and wait for the LORD, do not be vexed by the prospering man who carries out his schemes. 8 Give up anger, abandon fury, do not be vexed; it can only do harm. 9 For evil men will be cut off, but those who look to the LORD— they shall inherit the land. 10 A little longer and there will be no wicked man; you will look at where he was— he will be gone. 11 But the lowly shall inherit the land, and delight in abundant well-being. 12 The wicked man schemes against the righteous, and gnashes his teeth at him. 13 The Lord laughs at him, for He knows that his day

19/12/2017 Duration: 04minOf David. O LORD, strive with my adversaries, give battle to my foes, 2 take up shield and buckler, and come to my defense; 3 ready the spear and javelin against my pursuers; tell me, “I am your deliverance.” 4 Let those who seek my life be frustrated and put to shame; let those who plan to harm me fall back in disgrace. 5 Let them be as chaff in the wind, the LORD’s angel driving them on. 6 Let their path be dark and slippery, with the LORD’s angel in pursuit. 7 For without cause they hid a net to trap me; without cause they dug a pit for me. 8 Let disaster overtake them unawares; let the net they hid catch them; let them fall into it when disaster [strikes]. 9 Then shall I exult in the LORD, rejoice in His deliverance. 10 All my bones shall say, “LORD, who is like You? You save the poor from one stronger than he, the poor and needy from his despoiler.” 11 Malicious witnesses appear who question me about things I do not know. 12 They repay me evil for good, [seeking] my bereavement. 13 Yet, when they were il

Tehilim Chanukah & Seeing God In A Thank You
17/12/2017 Duration: 04minTehilim: Chanukah Special, Seeing God in a Thank You Welcome to NachDaily, covering the entire TANACH one perek at a time. I’m Rabbi Shaya Sussman, sharing words of chizuk and emunah as they relate to Tehilim, tefilah, and Chanukah. The days of Chanukah are days of hoda’ah- gratitude. We give thanks to Hashem for all He’s done for us both as a collective nation and as specific individuals. During the Haneros Halalu prayer immediately after lighting the menorah, we say that the eight days of Chanukah were established k’dey lahodos u’lahallel es Shimcha hagadol - to express gratitude and thanks to God’s great Name. Rebbe Nachman explains, in his sefer Lekutei Maran, that the more you give thanks to someone, the closer you are to that person. By recognizing and appreciating the goodness that person did for you, the closer the relationship becomes. When we give hoda’a to Hashem, the Master of the world, therefore, the closer we become to Him. The more you recognize Him, the more you can feel His Presence. E

Tehilim, Chanukah & The Black Abyss
13/12/2017 Duration: 05minTehilim: Chanukah Special, Chanukah and the Black Abyss. The last of the expressions is the word tahom, black abyss. Tahom means a never ending pit, something that is so long, so dark, that you can never reach the bottom of it. Chazal continue to explain that tahom corresponds to the last galus, Edom, the exile in which we’re currently living. This galus has been long
