Mick Coyle brought you all of the latest updates from Liverpool Crown Court where former youth football coach Barry Bennell was found guilty of 43 counts of child sex abuse. The 64-year-old denied all of the offences which took place from the late seventies into the nineties.  But his trial heard he was a child molester 'on an industrial scale'.  Hear from Jackie Lamb from the CPS, Detective Inspector Sarah Oliver from Cheshire Police and four of Bennell's victims Andy Woodward, Micky Fallon, Steven Walters and Chris Unworth.

Local playwright and author Ian Salmon joined Mick Coyle in the studio to talk about his new play "Those Two Weeks". Ian was joined alongside his wife, Jeanette Salmon, and director of the play, Mike Dickinson. "Those Two Weeks isn’t a play about Hillsborough. It’s a play about before. It’s a play about what life was like when it was normal and it’s a play about how difficult normal can be." Local actor Christopher Lee-Power joined Mick Coyle in the studio to talk about how he survived the New Ferry explosion. Christopher was only four doors away from the explosion and he told Mick it was "the most frightening experience of his life".  It's almost a year since the explosion and Christopher called on the government to step in and help families affected by the blast who are still unable to move back into their homes.

Mick Coyle was joined by Kelly Thorpe and Emma Fairhurst from National Suicide Prevention Charity, PAPYRUS, to talk about their #BedtimeStories campaign for Safer Internet Day. They told Mick how they have received calls from children as young as nine wanting to take their own lives due to online bullying. Mick Coyle was joined by a local young carer, Darcy, who cared for her mum from the age of 8\. Darcy, from Dovecot, told Mick how she felt it was normal to look after her Mum at such a young age and to take on responsibilities such as cooking and cleaning instead of seeing her friends. Louise Wardale, Keeping the Family in Mind Co-ordinator, spoke about the work that Barnado's do to help young carers with various things including their mental health. Plus, Liverpool City Council's Cabinet Member for Children's Services, Cllr Barry Kushner, spoke about the work that the council do and the support that they can provide.

General Secretary of Unite the Union, Len McCluskey, joined Mick Coyle on Liverpool Live too talk about the meeting he had with PSA regarding the Vauxhall Ellesmere Port plant. He told Mick how he is reasonably optimistic about talks and how he believes discussions will continue.  Len also spoke about the recent uncertainty surrounding production at the Jaguar Land Rover Halewood site and how he is due to meet with Jaguar bosses in February.

Liverpool fan Lizzi Doyle and Dave Downie from the Blueroom talked through quotes that have emerged from a recent meeting between Liverpool FC and supporters in regards to the clubs future revenue streams.

Jane Kennedy joined Mick Coyle on Liverpool Live to talk through her five years in office as Merseyside's Police and Crime Commissioner. Jane talked through what she has achieved as PCC and what her ambitions are for the future as well as the effect cuts are having on the Merseyside police force. Plus, she told Mick of her support for our 'No More Knives' campaign and how important it is to reduce knife crime in our city.

Travis Frain, who was injured in the Westminster bridge terror attack, joined Mick Coyle on Liverpool Live. The Edge Hill student told Mick about what he remembered that day and how he believes there isn't enough support out there for terror victims like himself. Travis has also become a trustee of The Tim Parry Jonathan Ball Foundation for Peace and he tells of the amazing work that they do and how he wants to use his experiences to help others. Vorny encourages people to put together items that are needed in a shoebox and then distribute them to various charities who can pass them on to people who really need them. Liverpool fan Anna Burgess told Mick Coyle how she felt she was treated aggressively by Sevilla ground staff and police before last night's Champions League tie in Seville. She told Mick that she felt that the way she was handled was "completely unnecessary" and how she felt she had done no wrong.

Regular contributor to Radio City Talk, Gareth Roberts, told Mick how he was treated by the Sevilla police before the game and how him and many others were 'herded' into different sections of the ground without proper ticket checks. A report by Children's Society warns thousands of children's lives are being damaged as a result of alcohol abuse & that they are more likely to suffer similar issues themselves as adults. Leader of the Women's Equality Party in Liverpool, Tabitha Morton, joined Mick Coyle to discuss claims that one in 20 new mothers will be made redundant during pregnancy, while on maternity leave or shortly after returning to work. The Women's Equality Party have been leading calls for the Government to rethink legal protections for pregnant women and new mums. Tabitha also gave her views on victims of sexual harassment and how it should be treated in the workplace.
