News broke this week that the University of Minnesota is weighing its options on whether to renovate or rebuild the legendary almost 100 year old Williams Arena, known to many as “The Barn” - we reflect on the legacy of the building and whether its time to say goodbye to this Minnesota gem. Then warmed things up with some baseball talk as it is right around the corner - talked to Dave St. Peter, Twins President of Baseball Operations about the upcoming Minnesota Twins festivities from the Winter Caravan, the Diamond Awards, TwinsFest next weekend and the inevitable Spring Training next month. We also preview the NFL Divisional matchups! 

It may be January but we were able to preview what should be a good week of Minnesota Twins events with the President of Baseball Operations for the Minnesota Twins, Dave St. Peter - from the Diamond Awards on Wednesday, kick starting the Twins Winter Caravan, and Twins Fest next weekend - even dove into a big week potentially for Joe Mauer! 

We chatted with Jess Myers of The Rink Live about all things hockey - whether its the pond hockey championships, the Big Ten hockey matchups, even chatted NCHC and CCHA as it is a busy weekend of hockey on many levels.

Furthermore we breakdown the looming Peacock debut of Wild Card weekend in the NFL starting with tonight's Chiefs-Dolphins matchup. We also dive into a little PWHL action as they are undefeated and host New York on Sunday afternoon.

Switching things over to the men’s side, they faced a close call against Robert Morris and looked ahead to tonight’s matchup as well. Also we talked NCHC and St Thomas hockey as well.

After that, we talked to Arif Hasan, NFL analyst who covers the Minnesota Vikings about the upcoming matchup on Sunday night, what his new year's resolution is for the Vikings and more! Then we wrap with some NBA discussion and load management talk.
