There was a book, a video game, toys, and various other things revolving around this ambitious project. For better or worse it's been moved back into the realm of legends, but we still wanted to talk about it. Some things in the old expanded universe have aged better than others, and this book was very different than we remembered. Darth Plagueis is only mentioned once across nine full movies, but his effect can be felt throughout the entire series. The Sith lord who helped make old Sheev the super villain of Star Wars has a pretty great history, and this book tells it well.
