Cats Talk Wednesday

It's summer slowdown time. The NBA season has concluded and football is still a short distance away. Tonight we recap the Cleveland Cavaliers historic comeback over the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals. LeBron James has brought a title to The Land. Tomorrow we get to see how many Kentucky Wildcats will hear their names called at the NBA Draft.  John Calipari and Rick Pitino have taken indirect jabs at one another, we'll hit that too. Our good friend Craig Bates will join us to recap the Stanley Cup Final and pay homage to the late, great Gordie Howe. Tune in, gonna be fun!

On tonight's episode of Cats Talk Wednesday Vinny and Terry will talk plenty of UK sports as always. UK baseball has a new coach, Derek Willis made a bad decision. We'll get into all of that. We'll discuss the NBA Finals as well. LeBron and Kyrie went off. Can they force game 7 or will the Golden State Warriors add another chapter to the Cavaliers and the city of Cleveland's misery? At 6:15 we'll be joined by Tim Bray, Director of Communications at Kentucky Motor Speedway to talk some NASCAR now that there's less than a month to go until race time in KY. At 7:00 we have a former UK football penciled in as well. Tune in to see who it may be. 

Tonight Vinny and Terry will discuss Louisville's own, the legendary Muhammad Ali. We'll get caught up on the NBA Finals as the Golden State Warriors look to go up 3-0 on the Cleveland Cavaliers. Can LeBron James and Kyrie Irving get back in the series without Kevin Love? Mark Stoops and the Kentucky's football recruiting took a hit. How will they respond going forward? Will any of this affect Marques Bolden's decision? Stephen Curry came back in a big way and helped the Golden State Warriors put the Portland Trail Blazers on the brink of elimination. He collected his second consecutive MVP trophy, this one in unanimous fashion. Who will win the 142nd running? Mor Spirit is in lane 17, where's there's never been a winner, will this change this weekend? The NBA Playoffs roll on. We look back at the wild ending of game 2 between the Oklahoma City Thunder and San Antonio Spurs. How many more "we missed it reports" will we see from the refs? Josh Forrest was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams, we'll discuss that as well as all of the free agent signings. Gonna be fun!

Meanwhile in NoCal the Golden State Warriors seek to surpass the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls' 72-10 record by beating the Memphis Grizzlies in Oracle to move to 73-9. We've got two great guests as well.
