  • Celebrity Tragedy and Charcoal Coffee: ODO 62

    23/05/2017 Duration: 54min

This week has been marred by tragedy in the entertainment world. Chris Cornell was found dead, a terrorist bomber attacked an Ariana Grande concert, and today brought the loss of James Bond actor Roger Moore. On the lighter side, Supernatural is crossing over with Scooby-Doo, and I've found a kind of coffee out there that I just wont touch. • ODO 61: Plastic Money and Playing Jesus

    17/05/2017 Duration: 51min

I'm a bit behind on prep this week so stories get pulled a little more on the fly. In Entertainment I've got the controversy around ABC cancelling "Last Man Standing" and the hackers trying to ransom the latest "Pirates" movie. Weird news brings a story about sex lessons from porn stars and getting "Winstoned." The listener voted "Jackass of the Week" tells the tale of a pastor who died trying to walk on water, but with a twist.-ENTERTAINMENT-ABC Accused of Playing Politics For Canceling "Last Man Standing."Many conservatives are claiming that Tim Allen's comedy, "Last Man Standing" was cancelled as a result of his conservative political views and recent comments he made about being a Republican in Hollywood. • ODO 59: Puppies, Pants, Porn Stars, and Penmanship

    26/04/2017 Duration: 58min

This week we seem to have a new addition around the house in the form of a stray dog. I've got a bit of a rant about the Duggar family. A theme of sexual "misconduct" from live sexual harassment and a cross dressing contest winner to a Navy porn actor. Plus a couple lessons from dumb criminals, and this week's featured podcast, "Within the Wires." -Around the House-This week we may possibly be getting a new puppy. And by that I mean, We've probably just gotten a new puppy. Long story short, my sister saw a stray puppy on the side of a busy road. She picked it up and had it checked out with her vet friends, but she can't keep a dog in her apartment. So, here we come, as the only ones nearby with a house, and for some reason the inability to say no when she needs to unload animals. She's making flyers and posting up on lost dog pages and things. In the mean time, we are puppy sitting. Of course if nobody claims this dog, we have another dog. -Entertainment News-Jinger Duggar Wearing Pants. Why Is This News?Long

I take a shot at a London shop selling $20 sticks. And finally, I take a break from my wife's selections, and get back to Sanspants Radio for this week's featured podcast: Shut Up A Second.-Correction-Last week I kept mentioning Neil from "Ice and the Face" but his name is Rick. • ODO 52: March Movie Madness

    07/03/2017 Duration: 50min

MARCH MOVIE MADNESSThis week I'm devoting the entire show to the awesome slate of films dropping this month. Between the superhero epic of "Logan" and the batshit crazy "The Belko Experiment" this is shaping up to be the best march movie season ever. Keeping with the movie theme, this week's Recommended Listening is another Sanspants Radio gem, "Movie Maintenance- Because some movies just need fixing."GET OUT- February 24, 2017Now that Chris (Daniel Kaluuya) and his girlfriend, Rose (Allison Williams), have reached the meet-the-parents milestone of dating, she invites him for a weekend getaway upstate with Missy (Catherine Keener) and Dean (Bradley Whitford). • ODO 50: Is It Spring Already

    21/02/2017 Duration: 51min

IS IT SPRING ALREADY It's only February, yet I've already had to have the a/c running in my house for weeks. I've had to get back into full scale yard work. And I'm starting to see the evil death critters from hell, scorpions, around the house again. I don't want it to be spring yet. On top of that, in AZ we have spring training baseball. It may be great for the local economy, but it absolutely sucks for traffic. I just want winter to go on for a little longer.BULLSHIT FROM THE NEWSKKK Leader Murdered by Own FamilyThe wife and step-son of a self-proclaimed Imperial Wizard of the KKK have been arrested for murder. • ODO 49: I Suck at Valentines

    14/02/2017 Duration: 47min

Valentine's Day is here so I've committed to focusing the entire episode on the holiday. The problem with that is, in a very general way, I'm no good at Valentine's.It's not that I am not romantic. The problem comes mostly in that I'm too practical. I dislike giving flowers because they barely last a few days before dying. Chocolate seems very impersonal. There's a million different heart shaped boxes of candy out there, and everybody has particulars about box chocolates. Don't believe me, just look at any variety box of candy after a couple days. You'll find a lot of the same things left behind. Ultimately my failure boils down to a simple fact: I'm not that creative about gifts and the good ones are STUPID expensive. VALENTINE NEWSPokemon GO has special Valentine's Day updatePokémon GO is keeping up its habit of introducing holiday themed updates with a Valentine's Day event. To celebrate Valentine's Day, Pokémon GO 's first in-game event of 2017 began February 8 at 7pm and ends at February 15 at 7pm. Among

  • ODO 48: Adams Rants- Big Dumb Ape

    06/02/2017 Duration: 47min

I had a very upsetting encounter at work with what can only be described as a bully. A great big gorilla looking guy decided that he wanted to cuss me out and push me around for being professional and doing my job. As much as I wanted to cuss him out in return, my professionalism beat out my temper. Unfortunately I'm just not a very intimidating looking person and I've kinda been pushed around for most of my life. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

  • ODO: The Incident

    03/02/2017 Duration: 01h33min

On February 13, 2010 Adam was the victim of an "aggravated robbery" in which he was held at gunpoint and beaten over the head with a bat. After 7 years we are now sharing the most complete version of this story as it is a major part of who we both are today. It is not pretty, it is not funny. We make a few jokes to relieve tension, but it is still quite a heavy and dark tale to tell for both of us. We intentionally avoided names out of respect to others involved, and did not get into the court case involved, although it has already been settled. • ODO 47: Podcasting as a Dad

    31/01/2017 Duration: 55min

Congratulations to Daniel J. Lewis from "The Audacity to Podcast" on the birth of his first son, "Noodle Baby." The birth of "Noodle Baby" inspired me to talk about the idea of how having kids kills your podcast. Of course I can't keep to the topic at hand and go on talking about general Dadness. I love being a dad, and I love being a podcaster, but those things do in fact butt heads at times.I have missed many weeks on this show due to family life, but that is part of the trade off of wearing both hats. Something has to take priority, and in my life that is always going to be my family. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
