The silence can feel overwhelming. We often speak of seeing our loved ones again in heaven someday. The church teaches us to trust in life after death. But is that all we are given to hold onto as we walk through the sharp reality of grief? There is good news. There is more. There is comfort for grieving hearts. Breaking Free from Your Inner Pharaoh There are things in your mind that want to keep you trapped. Come learn God’s plan to break you out of there! When I speak about “breaking free from Pharaoh,” I’m talking about the inner rulers that corner us with worry, shame, distraction, or that relentless inner critic that never seems satisfied. Scripture shows this pattern again and again, and Swedenborg opens it with such tenderness, reminding us that God bends every moment toward freedom and joy. Somewhere inside each one of us is a Moses moment where something holy catches fire and asks us to turn aside.
