From Brick & Mortar to a Successful Online Business with Stacy Tuschl of She Builds Her Empire
10/07/2017 Duration: 29minAs someone who has run a local business for almost a decade and then grown a successful online business, I’ve been curious to get inside the head of Stacy Tuschl, entrepreneur, mom, business coach and strategist and overall DRIVEN biz woman! Fifteen years ago, Stacy began a dance competition studio in her parents back yard because she thought it would be fun. After 3 years, she had 100 people showing up weekly and she realized that she should take her hobby and officially turn it into a business! Now that business is a million dollar company and she does very little to make it work on a daily basis. Which is why over a year ago, she launched her online business that provides coaching and education to women who are just as serious as she is about building their empires. During this wonderful interview, Stacy shares how she was able to take a hobby and turn it into a highly profitable business and why investing in mentors and coaches early on has seriously paid off for her! She also talks about how

Lessons From the Emergency Room
03/07/2017 Duration: 18minWe came into the Emergency Room with my daughter on Sunday, knowing something was seriously wrong with her. Four days and 3 night later, we’re sitting at the precipice of a discharge, going home with good news. If you have ever been in the hospital with someone you love, you know that it is a vortex...normal life doesn't exist here and time works completely differently than it does in the outside world. Which is why since Sunday, I have been understandably unplugged from my normal business workings. I've had to reschedule with clients, podcast guests, podcast interviews (so grateful for the grace and understanding of each of these ladies!) and have overall been absent on social media. Always one to want to share lessons, I thought long and hard about what I could possibly share with you about this experience that would actually be meaningful to you. I could talk about the power of delegating… ...because with just a few messages and Voxers, I was able to give my team what they needed to make sure B

LIVE COACHING: How to Get Focused After Being in a Rut and How to Properly Sell "One Stop Shop" Services with Allie Weitzel
26/06/2017 Duration: 45minAllie Weitzel has been an active member of the Biz Women Rock community for awhile now, so I was SUPER excited to have the opportunity to strategize with her! She owns a company called Summit Business Team which provides small businesses with full service accounting, payroll, bookkeeping and strategic financial growth services! Allie has had tremendous growth and has doubled her business in the past year! During our call, I help Allie get clarity on two separate issues: How do I succinctly communicate to potential clients what I do? (i.e. I’m a “one stop shop and I help everyone!”). This turned into an understanding of how to not overwhelm her clients with her every single service they offer, but how to instead strategically have successful “discovery sessions” or conversation so she can properly point them in the direction of the packages that would service each client the best! How can I better manage my time? I’m so unfocused and can’t seem to get my sh*t together! During our conversation,

But there are so many areas of business that Hilary Hendershott does right that I knew giving you a general insight into how her business brain works would be the most helpful! Hilary worked in her father’s financial planning business for 13 years before she decided to open her own company. And in just 3 years, Hilary Hendershott Financial has become a high six figure business, expected to earn $500,000 in revenue by the end of 2017. During this incredible interview, Hilary shares why she started her own company instead of simply taking over her father’s business, the biggest mistake she made in her first year of business and her specific process on how she hires right and successfully manages a virtual team. She is incredible and owns Books Del Sur, a company that imports authentic Spanish children's books into the US and makes them available to dual language classrooms all throughout the country. During this LIVE COACHING session, Heather and I are diving deep into creating a powerful and practical marketing strategy for her ANTI-PRINCESSA series...3 books that each feature a powerful Latin woman - Frida Khalo, Violeta Parra and Juana Azurduy. My life as a mom and my life as an entrepreneur are not separate. They are, in fact, two different elements of my life that are part of the whole. Just like my right arm and my left arm are two separate body parts, but still work in tandem with each other and are vital parts of my entire body. And this is not how I’ve been approaching mompreneurship. I’ve been so proud of the fact that I’m “100% present” when it’s mommy time and “100% present” when it’s

Carissa is a genius at using Facebook to significantly grow your business and she teaches her results-driven strategies to clients and students all around the world through her courses. 17/04/2017 Duration: 30minYou may initially think Cheslie Lamie, Personal Injury Attorney was crazy for opening up her private practice when her youngest son was just 6 months old and her older son was a toddler. 03/04/2017 Duration: 34minWhen I reached out to Kirsten to feature her on this Mompreneur Series, I joked with her that the title of her episode would be Five F*&#^@g Kids and a Business!
