The 2017 NBA Draft is only two days away, and we're already seeing trades involving the Los Angeles Lakers, Brooklyn Nets, Atlanta Hawks, and more. AND WE EVEN HAVEN'T STARTED ABOUT THE MILWAUKEE BUCKS' GENERAL MANAGER SEARCH! ESPN Wisconsin's Eric Nehm helps us make sense of the process in hiring Jon Horst as Bucks GM, along with who they could be looking at with the No. 17 pick in the first round of Thursday's draft.  We also ask him how former Wisconsin Badgers Nigel Hayes and Bronson Koenig could fare in the NBA after their impressive careers in Madison.

The NHL Stanley Cup Final between the Nashville Predators and the Pittsburgh Penguins is now tied 2-2 in a series that has seen the home team dominate each contest.  Former Wisconsin Badgers center Craig Smith joins B5Q to talk about his experience playing for the Nashville Predators, scoring a goal and registering an assist the past two games, along with what makes Nashville such a fun place to play in. He also touches base about playing against former teammate Justin Schultz, who's a key member of the Penguins' run to the Final.

With the 175th overall pick in the NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers drafted wide receiver DeAngelo Yancey in the fifth round.  Now after rookie orientation, the former standout for the Purdue Boilermakers recalls hearing his phone ring on Day 3 of the draft, his first minicamp with the Packers, and what he can bring to an offense led by quarterback Aaron Rodgers. We also ask Biegel what he's most excited for. A really insightful interview just days before his name should be called in the NFL Draft.

Acme Packing Company's Evan "Tex" Western joined us from the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis to discuss who he feels the Green Bay Packers could be looking for in this year's draft. He also provides insight to where former Wisconsin Badgers Ryan Ramczyk, Corey Clement, Dare Ogunbowale, T.J. Watt, Vince Biegel and Sojourn Shelton could land later this fall. There are currently 16 known Wisconsin Badgers in the class of 2017. First-team all-state offensive tackle Tyler Beach will be one of several linemen to help fill in the numbers and ultimately contribute to Wisconsin's long tradition of standouts at those position groups. Less than 12 hours from signing his National Letter of Intent, Beach spoke with B5Q about his recruiting process and what led him to verbally commit to Wisconsin, where the coaching staff sees him on the offensive line, and his goals for his immediate and long-term future in Madison. A short and sweet podcast but well worth the listen.

We checked in with Wisconsin running back Dare Ogunbowale on Thursday before the East-West Shrine Game on his NFL draft preparation. Kyle Zuleger played 52 games in his Wisconsin Badgers career, though many may not have seen him on the field in a position role. He became one of UW's great special teams standouts, earning roles on the prominent return and coverage units. Last Tuesday, Jan. 17th, Jake and Joel sat down and caught up with Kyle at the Red Smith Banquet up in Appleton to discuss his football career, Nate Tice's "miraculous" touchdown against Indiana in 2010 and his current career as a firefighter. Zuleger also tells an amazing story of how he "met" Cleveland Cavaliers legend LeBron James in 2013 during the Wisconsin-Ohio State match-up at the Horseshoe in Columbus.

From one of the last players on the 105-man roster in 2012 summer camp to a team captain and on the doorstep of the NFL, running back Dare Ogunbowale exemplified Wisconsin's walk-on legacy. Ogunbowale is in the Tampa area, practicing and competing in the East-West Shrine Game (Sat. Jan. 21, 2 p.m. CST, NFL Network), and speaks about his training after the Badgers' 24-16 Cotton Bowl victory, being invited to the NFL Combine late next month, and his Wisconsin career. The former walk-on has impressed during practices this week, and his abilities on and off the field should intrigue organizations looking for a versatile running back  

Fox Sports’ Bruce Feldman first reported on Thursday night that California is “in contract negotiations” with current Wisconsin Badgers defensive coordinator Justin Wilcox to be its new head coach. If he indeed leaves, who could replace him? The Green Bay Packers decimated the New York Giants in the NFC Wild Card Playoff round. In the Divisional round, can they contain Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott and the Dallas Cowboys well-respected offensive line? Plus a look at the NFL playoffs and we pick who we think will move on to championship weekend. We'll scatter some Milwaukee Bucks in there as well. Tune in!
