A thin, narrow-shouldered thief by the name of Larson may have killed the owner of the mansion and his partner in crime, the fair-haired Fitzgerald, breaks a security beam, triggering the burglar alarm. GHOSTS OF FLANNAN LIGHTHOUSE (MYSTERY) A chilling mystery unfolds in 1900 off the Scottish coast as Joseph Moore arrives at the Flannan Island Lighthouse to find it cold and abandoned... its keepers vanished. EXILE OF HOPE (SCI-FI) MacAllan fell into a trap set by Mai Lai causing the destruction of the Irongate facility, almost killing her strike force in the process.  Robertson is injured while Gregor remains suspended in a coma forcing Underchief Watson to seize control of the mission from MacAllan.  And in Japan, Tulley and Oberlin are tortured by the Yakuza as Tulley tries to make a bargin to keep him and Oberlin alive. I've never been entirely clear on exactly what that means, or if the folks that coined the phrase intended it to be as insulting as it is. But one thing is for sure, those thin character sketches that populate the margins are usually kept there for a reason. But when left to their own devices, they tend to play familiar games.
