  • BAMS reviews A-Day, and updates NFL Draft

    26/04/2018 Duration: 57min

A-Day has come and gone, and Jalen Hurts missed a golden opportunity to push himself forward as the starting quarterback for the team next season. Part of the problem was a really good defensive front that the Bama offensive line had to contend with this past weekend. At least Joseph Bulovas and Mac Jones looked like rock stars throughout the game this past Saturday. While the current team takes a break, the NFL Draft is on, and Alabama has a bunch of players that will hear their name called. We cover all of that and more with Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger & Thomas Watts.

The OL struggles that we highlighted on Friday continued, and the kickers had an offday. It isn't all bad news, though, as the Alabama defense looks like...the Alabama defense. New players are stepping up, and looking good while doing it. We discuss all that & more on this special edition of BAMS Radio discussing everything we've heard from the second scrimmage. Join the fun with Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger & Thomas Watts

  • BAMS talks first spring scrimmage, and how 5 star struggles happen along the OL

    13/04/2018 Duration: 51min

One scrimmage down, two to go. The Alabama Crimson Tide football team went through their first scrimmage this past weekend, and the guys at BAMS had their ear to the ground trying to get whatever insight they could for listeners. The second scrimmage coming up this weekend should provide further clarity. One spot that will be watched with particular interest in the offensive line where one of the Tide's blue chippers has surprised William "Redfish" Barger with his struggles. We discuss that, and more on this episode of BAMS.

    06/04/2018 Duration: 58min

Another week of spring practice is in the books, and the Tide had a small break for Easter. There have been rumblings about kicking woes coming out of the spring so far, and we get into that conundrum on the show. In happier news, Nick Saban's revamped coaching staff is already turning up the recruiting heat, and a rapidly changing SEC East may spell some headaches for one former Tide coach. Catch all of that and more with Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger & Thomas Watts on this episode of BAMSRadio

  • BAMS talks QBs through a bit of spring football

    23/03/2018 Duration: 53min

Spring football is here, and the Jalen/Tua debate is in full swing. Folks are taking this one a bit personally, but more power to them for their stances. We give our takes on the QB situation going forward, and debunk some debate surrounding Blake Sims. Also, William "Redfish" Barger does a bit of 'splainin' on the offensive line and how it operates. Join him, Drew DeArmond, and Thomas Watts for your weekly shot of Crimson Tide talk

  • BAMS recaps basketball, and prepares for spring football

    17/03/2018 Duration: 53min

Good season overall for the Alabama Crimson Tide men's basketball group. A thrilling few wins, and a buzzsaw of a squad in Villanova finished the season up for the team. No, Avery Johnson should not get fired. Luckily, for all of the armchair Steph Curry's within the Alabama fan base, there is football to discuss, and the natural order of things will be restored soon. Instead of calling for firing Avery Johnson, fans can get back to their normal, mundane lives wherein they question Nick Saban, and pat each other on the back for how much better they are at football coaching and evaluation than anyone within the program. We discuss that and more with William "Redfish" Barger & Drew DeArmond.

  • BAMS celebrates a couple of big basketball wins

    10/03/2018 Duration: 52min

Whew. After a 5 game losing streak where everything that seemingly could go wrong did, the Alabama Crimson Tide men's basketball team saved their best performances for when the chips were on the table. A last second thrilling win against Texas A&M led to a blowout victory over Auburn. Those two wins give Bama a spot in the Big Dance, and we'll be talking that and more on this episode of BAMSRadio! Join Drew DeArmond & William "Redfish" Barger for everything Alabama!

  • BAMS talks coach Kuligowski, and clarifies a bit of basketball

    23/02/2018 Duration: 01h06min

Nick Saban finished up his 2018 coaching staff with the addition of Craig Kuligowski to the staff coming over to coach defensive linemen. It's been hailed as a coup due to coach Kuligowski's pedigree developing first round draft picks at Missouri, as well as the steps that the defensive line took during his tenure at Miami. We also discuss how the staff is going to adjust to having Burton Burns move into an off field role with the program, and how Joe Pannunzio will be able to fulfill Burns's role moving forward. Finally, Drew has a bit of a rant about basketball. Join him, and William "Redfish" Barger as they talk all things Crimson Tide.

  • BAMS talks how recruiting has changed, and defensive change

    16/02/2018 Duration: 01h04min

Join William "Redfish" Barger and Thomas Watts for another exciting show.

  • BAMS remembers Jeremy Nunley and talks Signing Day 2018

    10/02/2018 Duration: 01h03min

Tough week for the Crimson Tide. A lost mythical recruiting championship, and an unfortunate passing of a 1992 champion. We got Redfish to talk about his personal interactions with Jeremy Nunley throughout his tenure at the Capstone, and then Drew joined in to discuss their thoughts on Alabama recruiting. The excitement is palpable for the both of them with regard to Jalen Waddle, and despite all of the naysaying about the 2018 class, they both feel it is a lot better than most want to believe.

What a wild night in NoLa! The Alabama Crimson Tide destroyed a very good Clemson team 24-6. It was arguably the singularly most impressive win of the season. The Tigers simply had nothing for the Tide on the evening. The Tide's prize? A battle with SEC foe Georgia for all of the marbles. It's a BAD matchup for the Dawgs, and your crew of Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger and Thomas Watts have the breakdown of everything a Tide fan would want.

We break it all down and actually explain why a few of the "misses" weren't "misses" due to unforeseen circumstances. Join Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger and Thomas Watts for all things Crimson Tide!
