Episode 6 - My Yoke, You Know?
28/05/2019 Duration: 53minBefore I say anything else, I want to apologize for the questionable audio quality in this episode. I had the microphone turned up too high and we maxed it out many times. Also, we were in my car with the windows down, so all the alien noises in the background are just cars passing... except that one point (around 24:30) at which we seem to have caught a girl singing in the background just as I started talking about martyrs and persecuted Christians. We didn't notice it when we were recording. Weeeeeeirrrrddd. Anyway, we named this episode "My Yoke, You Know?" because although we spent our time talking about Jesus's statement in Matthew 11:30 about his yoke being easy and his burden being light, upon listening back through it we realized the cringeworthy number of times we said "you know." As it turns out, "but, um"s are easy to edit out. "You know"s aren't. Nevertheless, we hope this episode blesses you and you send us plenty of complaints about our podcasting skills. Episode 4- Personality
15/04/2019 Duration: 50minPersonality is a big deal to the world, but if we want to live Biblically, we can't let our personalities dictate how we live our lives. Our traits, our quirks, our strengths and weaknesses--none of these are so powerful that God can't change them. Whatever God has commanded He has equipped us to do. We just need to obey Him.
