This is a collective portrait of prostitutes from the popular Casablanca Zevaco market in the street of Agadir, centered on one of them, Jmiaa, with a strong character. Jmiaa faces the adversity of everyday life with determination and is not afraid to speak her mind.A shocking shuffle that takes us from Casablanca to San Francisco, the style borrows from Casablanca humor and the dialogues are strangely ironic. Zabou Breitman & Eléa Gobbé-Mévellec
07/03/2019 Duration: 28minWe have been lucky enough to meet with reknowned French actress and movie director Zabou Breitman while she came to talk about her last project The Swallows of Kabul in Thêatre du Lycée Français.Coming from the traditional movie industry, she asked Eléa Gobbé-Mevellec to co-direct what became an animation movie with the blessing of Yasmina Khadra. This complex project took no less than 5 years, from inception to end.We were able to discuss with them about the creative process and we hope that you will appreciate the curious spirit of these two women.
