    Ben Falck is one of the founders of the Kyoto Brewing Company, a local brewery in Kyoto. He worked on the JET Programme at the same time as I did (2005-2007) and then moved to Tokyo and worked in recruiting before he took the leap into beer brewing. He talks about the challenges of starting a brewery in Japan and what that works involves.

    Nori and his wife, Satoko, run a small organic farm in Tahara, Aichi prefecture, in Japan. They make their living by sending boxes of seasonal vegetables twice a week to customers all over Japan. Tahara also happens to be a famous surfing town in Japan, so in the summer they spend their time surfing. In this interview, Nori, talks about the way he got into farming, how he progressed and his advice to people interested in doing the same.
