Helloooooo we're back from our hiatus. And for our first episode of 2017, we have one of the dopest theatre artists in Boston, Brandon G. Green! We've seen him in some of the most aggressive and powerful shows: An Octoroon, Mr. Burns, and most recently, Scottsboro Boys. Stay tuned for more fun and improved (hopefully) episodes coming up!

This week we start with a Rant, which really sets the tone for the entire episode. Non has really strong opinions on plays about rich Manhattanites. Natasha on the other hand saw Straight White Men by (our favorite) Young Jean Lee, and has crisis about being white. We both agree that some playbills need to step up their game.

Working actress Caitlyn Jones joins us to discuss how to get youths into the theatre! She's part of Speak About It, a theatre company that uses theatre as a tool for sexual education. We talk about how theatre should be less of "an event", and defend wearing sweatpants to see plays. Continuing our conversation with Marina: What are the similarities between sports and theatre?
