Synopsis

Alex Wood is a stand-up comedian. He's also a recovering alcoholic and drug addict. On the 1st of every month he's quitting one of his vices. Over the next year he's quitting; weed, caffeine, chewing his nails, red meat, dairy, cigarettes, porn, social media, credit cards, gossip, smart phone and sugar. Each episode also has an interview with an addict of some kind.

    I'm on day 3 off of social media and I am shocked at how difficult it is to quit.  I monitored how many times I had an impulse to check Facebook/Instagram/Twitter on the first day and it was 48 times.  Yikes.  I've also signed up for my first boxing fight and I'm moving in with my girlfriend.  My guest this episode is entrepreneur, Allie Sweeting.  We talk about the why Snapchat was playing havoc with her anxiety and how she was able to quit it.
