In this Election Day special, the Finale Rally Sallies watch the election obsessed show The West Wing for the first time. That's right: They'd never seen a single episode, but then they watched the finale! WACKY! THEN! They watched the pilot! What the what??? We also talk about the latest trends in pornography, and we do NOT talk about the dates Gaby and Ben were eating, with the exception of immediately at the beginning. Here's the link to the supercut of all of Aaron Sorkin's recycled dialogue: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S78RzZr3IwI Here's the link to David O Russell chewing out Lily Tomlin: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7SG43wa7Alo Special thanks to the great again Nick Von Kaenel for our theme music!

  • 11. The Hills

    26/10/2016 Duration: 01h11min

The Finale Rally Sallies watch psuedo-reality show The Hills for the very first time in their very full lives. Or at least the (CONTROVERSIAL) finale and the (STANDARD) pilot. We also hear about Gaby's near-stardom: when she filmed a never-aired reality tv show about internet celebrities. Ben and Garrett's collective mind is blown when they discover Kim Kardashian has The Hills partially to thank for her rise to stardom. Bananas! All this and more on a very special FINALE RALLY!!! Special thanks to the unscripted Nick Von Kaenel for our theme music.

  • 10. Naruto

    11/10/2016 Duration: 01h09min

This week, the Finale Rally Sallies watch the finale of the anime classic, Naruto, then guess the pilot and watch that, too. Mostly they discuss how they think the lil Naruto boy appears to be in the XMen, or maybe he's Harry Potter. Theme song is by the very skilled Nick Von Kaenel.

  • 09. Nurse Jackie

    25/09/2016 Duration: 01h21min

The Finale Rally Sallies (which officially includes you listeners now, congratulations!) this week watch the series finale of Nurse Jackie, even though they'd never seen any episodes of it prior! Then they guess the pilot and watch that too, effectively ruining the show for themselves forever! In this religion-heavy episode, the Sallies discuss how confessionals work, as well as America's homegrown religion: Mormonism. Ben and Gaby reveal they don't know anything about doctors or nurses. We also get to the bottom of those DONG sounds that haunt our podcast. All this and laughs! Special thanks to the healthy Nick Von Kaenel for our theme music.

  • 08. That's So Raven

    13/09/2016 Duration: 01h11min

That's So Finale Rally Sallies. None of us had seen a single episode of That's So Raven. In fact, none of us realized in the theme song, she says, "It's the future she can see." Or at least she says something like that. It was a Disney Channel show just a litttttle bit after our time, plus none of us had Disney Channel. So listen along as the Finale Rally Sallies watch the final TWO episodes of That's So Raven, guess the pilot, and then watch the pilot. Here's a real jankity bootleg video of the SNL sketch featuring Disney acting school that Gaby mentions! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gcAt338lxZk Theme song by That's So Nick Von Kaenel.

  • 07. Downton Abbey

    30/08/2016 Duration: 01h08min

This week, the Sallies watch the series finale of Downton Abbey and try to juggle one thousand plot lines. They then lock up their most ambitious Pilot Guesses™ yet and watch find out who was closest. Also the debut of a new FavoSegme: Abby(-ie? -ey?) Roll Call! A very good segment that we'll be seeing a lot of. We compare it to Another Period a lot, since that's a show we've seen, and not the prestige television show Downton Abbey. Garrett also calls out our cousins 'cross the pond for not actually following through on Brexiting. Sorry, those of you listening to the p'cast. Here's a link to the stars in Downton Abbey dressed in regular clothes, because Gaby insisted on it. http://www.ew.com/gallery/downton-abbey-stars-real-life The non-Redwall Brian Jacques series that Garrett talks about at the end was Castaways of the Flying Dutchman. It wasn't as good as Redwall. Don't forget to read, children! Special thanks to the classic Nick Von Kaenel for the theme song and trying to teach Garrett how to make

  • 06. MacGyver

    16/08/2016 Duration: 01h06min

"Clever girl!" The Sallies mess up and watch half of the wrong finale, but then find the correct one and watch that one, for the late 80s/early 90s epic: MacGyver. They also start to use some new audio equipment. Listen to see if it's any better (SPOILER: Kinda). Thanks to the handy Nick Von Kaenel for our theme song and mastering.

  • 05. House

    02/08/2016 Duration: 01h01min

Is there a doctor in the House? Yes, and that House doctor is House, the television show starring House. The Finale Rally Sallies set their Finale Rally Sights on the medical procedural House, watching the finale without having ever seen another episode, and then watching the pilot for good measure. Along the way, the Sallies talk about some unseemly FuFaRuRo's involving the pilot's director. Theme song and mastering by the patient Nick Von Kaenel.

  • 04. Sons of Anarchy

    19/07/2016 Duration: 01h04min

After taking a couple weeks off, the Sallies are back at it, watching the movie-long series finale for Sons of Anarchy, and then the normal length pilot for the same series. If you want to hear about a bunch of white dudes making weapons available to people of ill repute but are sick of hearing about the Republican National Convention, give her a listen. Theme song by the married Nick Von Kaenel.

  • 03. Friday Night Lights

    22/06/2016 Duration: 01h04min

This week, the Sallies bask under the southern heat of Friday Night Lights, because it's a show we've never seen and that's how this podcast works. We talk about Coach, Coach's wife, Coach's daughter, and all the other coaches coach coached in East Dilhole. We also spoil parts of the Wire in this one. Yikes. Theme song and mastering by Friday Night Light of this world Nick von Kaenel.

  • 02. Desperate Housewives

    04/06/2016 Duration: 51min

In the second ever episode of the runaway podcast success Finale Rally, the Finale Rally Sallies watch the last and first episodes of the show Desperate Housewives. Here's the catch: We've never seen the thing before. What a catch! Theme song and mastering by Sacramento king Nick von Kaenel.

  • 01. Alias

    22/05/2016 Duration: 59min

Having never seen the series, the Finale Rally Sallies watch the last episode of the Jennifer Garner hit Alias and try to figure out what's going on. They then guess the pilot and watch that, too. It's so much fun. Here's the photo of Ron Rifkin & Joel Grey (not Bob Balaban) together that caused us to lose our minds: http://d3rm69wky8vagu.cloudfront.net/photos/large/5.162349.jpg Theme song and mastering by the absurdly generous Nick von Kaenel.
