WHY DID DOUGCO TAKE CONTAMINATED LAND FOR KIDS TO PLAY ON? That's the question my guest at 1 and so many other have about a land deal done by the Three Kings Of the County Commission Douglas County. They want to build a massive sports complex called Zebulon, but they did a land swap with a developer who didn't want to have to worry about contamination from the old Dupont factory. Now the county is going to put a bunch of ball fields on TOP of the contamination or leave the taxpayers on the hook for any further mitigation that needs to be done. ABOUT BLACK BELT STATUS I spent this past weekend digging into claims made by Victor Marx. One of the ones I found the most curious is his claim that he is a "7th degree black belt in Cajun Karate Keichu-do a mixture of Karate / Jui-jitsu/ boxing" and it is a martial arts style created by Victor's late father Karl Marx. I tried to find out how one moves from belt to belt and couldn't find anything, and since that is a mystery, I thought we'd do some digging into more traditional forms of martial arts to see how it compares to jiu jitsu in terms of becoming a black belt.
