Our series for June is called “On Demand.” This series will focus on how the world is always on with everything expected immediately. Our message this week is “Rush to Judgement” and looks at how we may rush to judge others instead of using patience and mercy. We have to slow down so that we may experience Christ in our lives. Our scripture readings come from 2 Samuel 12:1-9; Romans 14:10-18; John 8:2-11.

This week we finish our series for May called “Easter Spirit”. This series will focus on how we let the miracle of Easter change us. Our last message is “Spirit of Goodness” and looks at Trinity Sunday, where we explore creation, mission, and our place in God's design. We consider the resurrection of Christ and all that it represents in our lives. Our scripture readings come from Genesis 1:1-2:4a; 2 Corinthians 13:11-13; and Matthew 28:16-20. There will be no sermon audio next week for June 7th.

This week we continue our series for May called “Easter Spirit”. This series will focus on how we let the miracle of Easter change us. Our next message is “Spirit Is Here” and looks at Pentecost and how we think about the Holy Spirit in our lives today. We consider the resurrection of Christ and all that it represents in our lives. Our scripture readings come from Acts 2:1-21; 1 Corinthians 12:3b-13; and John 20:19-23.

This week we continue our series for May called “Easter Spirit”. This series will focus on how we let the miracle of Easter change us. Our next message is “Spirit Approaches” and looks at how we prepare ourselves for the Holy Spirit and change the focus in our lives. We consider the resurrection of Christ and all that it represents in our lives. Our scripture readings come from Acts 1:6-14; 1 Peter 4:12-14; 5:6-11; and John 17:1-11.

Our next message is “Spirit of Truth” and looks at how we carry the truth with us as we share the Gospel message. We consider the resurrection of Christ and all that it represents in our lives. This week we start a new series for May called “Easter Spirit”. This series will focus on how we let the miracle of Easter change us. Our first message is “Spirit & Glory” and looks at how we gain strength from knowing that God is with us in all that we are and all that we do. We consider the resurrection of Christ and all that it represents in our lives. Our scripture readings come from Acts 7:55-60; 1 Peter 2:2-10; John 14:1-14.

This week we return to our "Word in Song" series. The message is “Kyrie” and is based on the song of the same name by Mr.Mister. Today we consider the grace of God and the prayer that we carry with us all our lives. We consider the resurrection of Christ and all that it represents in our lives. Our scripture readings come from Exodus 33:12-23; James 2:8-13; Mark 10:46-52.

This is a standalone message, as we don't start our next series until May. This message is “The Community” and is a message for our Easter season. Today we consider the way that we share our own story as part of the community we are in. We consider the resurrection of Christ and all that it represents in our lives. Our scripture readings come from Acts 2:42-47; Romans 12:1-13; Luke 9:1-6.

We finish our two part Easter series “The Tomb.” This series spans from Palm/Passion Sunday to Easter. This message is “He is Risen” and is a message for Easter Sunday. Today we consider the impact that the resurrection has in our lives and how we let the joy live within us. We consider the tomb of Christ and all that it represents in our lives. Our scripture readings come from Acts 10:34-43; Colossians 3:1-4; Matthew 28:1-10.

We start our two part Easter series “The Tomb.” This series spans from this Sunday to Easter. This message is “Laid to Rest” and is a message for Palm/Passion Sunday. Today we consider the impact that the crucifixion has in our lives and how we let it reside within us. We consider the tomb of Christ and all that it represents in our lives. Our scripture readings come from Matthew 21:1-11; Isaiah 50:4-9a; Philippians 2:5-11; Matthew 27:11-54.

We continue our Lenten series “Let It Go.” This series will look at what we can let go of as we move through Lent this year. This next message is “Doubt” and discusses how our doubt can cause us to lose sight of what matters. Today we consider the way doubt and faith work in our lives. We learn to let go of the things that hold us back so we may bound forward with God. Our scripture readings come from Ezekiel 37:1-14; Romans 8:6-11; John 11:1-45.

We continue our Lenten series “Let It Go.” This series will look at what we can let go of as we move through Lent this year. This next message is “Presumptions” and discusses how our assumptions can cause us to miss what God sees. Today we consider the way presumptions make us lose sight of how Christ sees us. We learn to let go of the things that hold us back so we may bound forward with God. Our scripture readings come from 1 Samuel 16:1-13; Ephesians 5:8-14; John 9:1-41.

This continue our Lenten series “Let It Go.” This series will look at what we can let go as we move through Lent this year. This next message is “Division” and discusses how divisions can cause us to stray from God. Today we consider the way division causes us to lose sight of the message of Christ. We learn to let go of the things that hold us back so we may bound forward with God. Our scripture readings come from Exodus 17:1-7; Romans 5:1-11; John 4:5-42.

This next message is “Entitlement” and discusses how entitlement can draw us away from God. Today we consider the way entitlement causes us to fail to love our neighbor. We learn to let go fo the things that hold us back so we may bound forward with God. Our scripture readings come from Genesis 12:1-4a; Romans 4:1-5, 13-17; John 3:1-17.

This continue our Lenten series “Let It Go.” This series will look at what we can let go as we move through Lent this year. This next message is “Temptation” and discusses how temptation can draw us away from God. Today we consider the source of temptation. We learn to let go fo the things that hold us back so we may bound forward with God. Our scripture readings come from Genesis 2:15-17; 3:1-7; Romans 5:12-19; and Matthew 4:1-11.

This Ash Wednesday marks the begining of our Lenten series “Let It Go.” This series will look at what we can let go as we move through Lent this year. This special Ash Wednesday message is “Learning to Let Go” and discusses how we let go of things to make room for Christ. We learn to let go fo the things that hold us back so we may bound forward with God. Our scripture readings come from Joel 2:1-2, 12-17; 2 Corinthians 5:20b-6:10; Matthew 6:1-6, 16-21.

This week we return to the “Word in Song.” This series is one that I come back to periodically and conect a song to Scripture. This week our message is “Shine” and comes from the song of the same name by Collective Soul. We take a look at the light of Christ shining in our lives as we reflect on the Transfiguration. We sing a song of the heart when we sing of the Gospel message. Our scripture readings come from Exodus 24:12-18; 2 Peter 1:16-21; and Matthew 17:1-9.

This week we finish our series called “Our Vision” and is based on the new vision statement of the United Methodist Church. We continue with “Lead Courageously” and we explore the way that we are called to lead by truth and faith. That we should put on the full armor of God so that we can lead courageously. We love boldly, serve joyfully, and lead courageously as we share the Gospel message. Our scripture readings come from Joshua 1:7-9; Ephesians 6:10-17; and Matthew 10:16-20, 26-27.

This week we continue our series called “Our Vision” and is based on the new vision statement of the United Methodist Church. We continue with “Serve Joyfully” and we explore the way that we are called to serve God. That we should emulate the service of Christ as we serve others. We love boldly, serve joyfully, and lead courageously as we share the Gospel message. Our scripture readings come from Psalm 100; 1 Peter 4:8-11; and John 13:12-17.
