Using Collages on Pinterest
30/07/2025 Duration: 22minThis podcast was created in partnership with Pinterest. I am currently one of six educators in their Pinterest Educator program. They helped me gather information, resources, and tools to help bring you this accurate and update to date teaching on Pinterest collges. What are Pinterest collages you might ask? Well, previously I had recorded a podcast on this with a workaround our team had found using Pinterest’s sister app – Shuffles. Business owners were asking us about the relevancy as well as the workflow for linking their products. At the time, this seemed to be the only way. Now we can do this in Pinterest…This episode will give you the information you need to decide if the Collages Pin format fits into your own Pinterest strategy; whether you’re ready to try it, or just want to stay informed for the future."I’m going to be sharing some helpful links in today’s episode so make sure you scroll down to the description to read more after you’re done. Summer Story Series - the Simple Pin Team
23/07/2025 Duration: 21minTo wrap up our story series I wanted to highlight those who make this company run. The woman who show up every day to manage accounts, manage teams, market the company, test out the theories, and continue to contribute their time and talents to make this agency run. I thought about how this would be received by you the listener. Would you care? Is it interesting? Are you curious? My first thought was…eh, not sure. My second thought was, but this is the story of how this company works, why this podcast exists, why we keep innovating on Pinterest marketing strategy. It’s the “why” and the “how” that most people never see. Frankly, this idea came to mind while I was falling asleep. I had been searching for someone to interview for our last story series podcast and this idea popped up. I started to recount all the people on my team, their years of experience, their stories, and the way in which they have all stayed here despite the ups and downs of the last 3 years or so. So yes, I could search around for someone

Summer Story Series – {My Mastermind}
09/07/2025 Duration: 01h09minA few years ago we did a summer story series, then last year we took a break. Mostly because I had become sick with a thyroid disorder that had come our remission after 12 years. It literally took me out for a month while doctors finally surfaced what was happening. But in that absence, people emailed saying they missed the story series and it had been a highlight for them the last few years that we had done it. The spirit behind these few summer episodes is to give you a bit of a break in talking about Pinterest. To listen to a story that will inspire you and maybe give you some food for thought. I envision you on a road trip, a daily walk or laying on the beach or in the mountains. Somewhere, you can relax and just take in the story. I have something really special for you in this episode: the story of my mastermind. The group of ladies who have supported me through thick and thin, sadness, joy, and deep pressure in business. The sounding boards, the reality checkers, the challengers, and the friends. It’s

Troubleshooting Part #3: Content
11/06/2025 Duration: 21minPinterest is a search and discovery platform. It thrives on creators sharing their ideas, products, and experiences in order to support the pinners. Pinners are looking for ideas, products or experiences to enhance their lives, dream into the future, and discover something new. The hard part about that is the burden of creating content can feel overhwelming and tough. As a creator we’re looking to leverage all of these platforms that are asking us to create content that is engaging, new, different, and so much more. If we cater to one platform will it work for the other platform? What if something works on google but doesn’t work on Pinterest? Or maybe you know that a trend is going crazy on Pinterest but you’re not really sure your main website readers will like it. The spin and tornado swirling around content creators can feel suffocating and crush creativity before it even gets started. This is part 3 of our 3 part series about troubleshooting your Pinterest marketing. I don’t want to fill your brain with

Troubleshooting Part #2: Keywords
04/06/2025 Duration: 10minKeywords have been a part of the Pinterest ecosystem for over 10 years. It’s how pins get surfaced when pinners are searching. How pins end up in their home feed after they have previously searched for a product or topic. Without keywords we wouldn’t have Pinterest. So then as a marketer what’s the problem? Why are people struggling so much to use keywords? I’ve convered this topic extensively in the last 9 years. I went back to look through all the posts and lost count. I’ve tried to get creative with how I’ve covered the topic and sometimes you just need to call it like you see it and say the quiet part outloud. That’s what I’m sharing in this short but sweet episode today. Stay with us. Conversions or Volume -- what is your goal?
21/05/2025 Duration: 19minLet’s talk about volume vs. conversion and how that relates to your Pinterest marketing strategy. There are two camps of people in my community – those who want more traffic and those who want more sales. There are some that have both but more often than not one of those goals wins out. Add to it the frustration of the internet changing and you have a lot of confused, overwhelmed, and frustrated people. But I would argue the frustration isn’t always about what’s happening TO us but it’s the lack of a clear understanding of our business model and what our ultimate goal is. So the question I’m asking today is what’s the difference between volume and conversion goals in online business and can you achieve both, especially with Pinterest marketing.—-------Here are some helpful links from the podcast:
