Jesus comes to the disciples, who had locked themselves away for fear of what might happen. Jesus comes through the locked doors and calls them to be apostles. We arrive in worship expecting death, more pain, and grief. Instead, we find an empty tomb and receive word that Jesus has risen! On this Fifth Sunday in Lent, we explore a classic Biblical story in Luke 19:1-10. This is the story of Zacchaeus, who climbed up a tree to see Jesus as he was coming into Jericho. We see where God shows up in this story between righteousness and mercy. We find that Jesus' mercy leads to the transformation of Zacchaeus and beyond.  Thank you again for worshipping with us.
