Sisters In Crime

On September 26, 2010, calls about a brush fire in the Santa Margarita area are received by Cal Fire (a California state agency that functions as the County Fire Department under a contract with the County of San Luis Obispo). First responders rush to put out the blaze when out of nowhere a man comes running at them, covered in blood. He’s incoherent, his nose looks like its nearly missing and was hanging from his face and his jaw is clearly broken, but responders are able to make out one word that he keeps saying - “Dystiny”. The man eventually loses consciousness, and as he’s being prepped for the ambulance, the fire fighters make another discovery. In a small, seemingly hand dug hole, they discovered a what looked like a duffle bag. Inside the bag, they discovered the partially burned body of a teenage girl, Dystiny Myers.
