In September of 1992, 19 year old Jennifer Asbenson lived in Palm Springs, and needed to get to work in the neighboring town of Desert Hot Springs. Jennifer didn’t have a car, and she had just missed the bus. At the time Jennifer was a certified nurse assistant, and she worked with disabled children as the night nurse.
