In the 2016 “Below the Surface” podcast, LP discusses coastal ecosystem services with the legendary Margaret Davidson. Margaret has been working in “ecosystem services” since 1978. She is a lawyer and holds a master’s degree in marine policy and resource economics form the University of Rhode Island. Early in her career, she served as special counsel and assistant attorney general for the Louisana Department of Justice and, from 1983 to 1995, she was the executive director of the South Carolina Sea Grant Consortium.
