Hafsah bint Umar رضي الله عنهم (S18) - Final session In 45 A.H, during the 5th year of Muaviya’s (رضي الله عنه) khilafat, our mother Hafsah رضي الله عنها fell seriously ill and passed away. Thus returned to Allah (swt), Hafsah bint Umar رضي الله عنهم: Daughter of Umar and Zainab bint Madhoon (رضي الله عنهم), widow of the Badri, Khunais (رضي الله عنه), the sister of Abdullah Ibn Umar (رضي الله عنهم), niece of Zayd Ibn al-Khattab, Uthman, Abdullah and Qudama Ibn Madhoon (رضي الله عنهم), custodian of the original mushaf, the one whose worship was praised by Allah (swt) Himself, the mother of the believers! Hafsah’s (رضي الله عنها) janazah was lead by Marwan Ibn al-Hakam (r.h). Abu Hurayrah رضي الله عنه held her bier. She was buried by Abdullah Ibn Umar رضي الله عنهم and his sons; Asim, Hamza and Salim (r.h).
