Some of the highlights of the day include: – – Nikki Hiltz and Yared Nuguse winning the 1500m – Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone ran the second-fastest 400m in U.S. history in the 400m race with a time of 48.74 seconds. – Sha'Carri Richardson ran an impressive 21.61 in the first round of the 200m – although the tailwind exceeded the allowable limit for record purposes, it matched the sixth-fastest time in history under all conditions. – Nia Ali, a 34-year-old athlete and mother, won the 100m hurdles with a time of 12.37 seconds, her best time in four years. – Field events saw surprises with Sam Kendricks and KC Lightoot tying for fourth place in the pole vault, and world champion Chase Ealey finishing fourth in the shot put.
