Sugar is Bad For Your Teeth
21/08/2017 Duration: 13minSugar isn’t new nor is it going anywhere. How we relate to it, though, should change. In 2016 the United Kingdom announced its plans for a levy to be placed on drinks containing more than 5g of sugar starting in 2018. The United States has dabbled in this battle as well, venturing to place taxes or all-out bans on soda. The beverage industry fights back using the very communities they market to in their campaigns claiming it is a regressive grocery tax that hurts the poor. Many hospitals and health organizations are pushing back, however, banning sugary drinks from their workplace. What I want to emphasize is that there is no scientific difference in the chemical structure of natural sugar and ADDED sugar. The body processes these identically. What IS different, is when you eat whole foods and fruit with naturally occurring sugars there is fiber associated with it, which has other health benefits including slowing down and improving the absorption of sugar in the body. Even the most disciplined and health conscious person can and will occasionally slip and go on a junk food or sugar binge.Statistics show junk food binging for the average American will result in the consumption of 29 pounds of french fries, 23 pounds of pizza, 24 pounds of ice cream and 53 gallons of soda each year. This adds up to the consumption of 150 pounds of sugar or other sweeteners each year, per American.Join Late Night Health host, Mark Alyn as he discovers how to reverse a junk food or sugar binge with Dr. Robert Silverman, author of, “Inside-Out Health: A Revolutionary Approach to Your Body.” Dr. Silverman says that we shouldn’t feel guilty about these occasional food binges, but knowing how to quickly reverse the damage can help to avoid the slippery “sugar” slope of consecutive junk food binge days and eliminate unhealthy repeat offences. Health At All Cost Part 1
12/08/2017 Duration: 13minThe state America’s health is sorely less than it should be. We live under a bifurcated health care delivery system that provides excellent care for those who can afford it, while leaving a huge portion of its citizens often having to choose between health care and putting food on the table. Health care spending in the U.S. towers over the that spent in Australia, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, both per capita and as a percentage of gross domestic product (GDP). Even though so much of American’s family budget goes to health care we are far from the healthiest people on the planet. Americans are below average on most measures of health — from obesity to infant mortality — when compared with other wealthy nations. The U.S. ranks at 26th in life expectancy out of the top 34 nations in the world. Infant mortality is a major measure of health care in the world and the U.S. ranks near the bottom among the wealthiest of nations. There are

10/08/2017 Duration: 13minLove and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them humanity cannot survive.— Dalai LamaToday I will share with you simple solutions how you can take control of your health by using energy healing and discuss research proving its efficacy.Feel Thyself/Heal ThyselfYou probably are familiar with some forms of energy healing. Reiki seem to be everywhere these days even in many hospitals, nurses use reiki to prepare a patient for surgery — calming them, and in post surgery to heal more quickly and painlessly.Another form of ‘quick’ healing is Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) or ‘tapping’, created by a medical doctor after studying the Chinese acupuncture system. There are studies on the government’s NIH PubMed website that found EFT calms students before exams, and also helps eliminate PTSD in veterans. How cool is that! No drugs, no prolonged sessions, and these are do-it yourself tools you can use anytime, anywhere. [see my free ‘How-to’ EFT video: http://bit.ly/EFTswami]. These are great starts to
