Where is the place you need to return to where God first spoke to you? Repent and change direction to face God. Reestablish your walk with Him and you will be restored and renewed, leading to revival. This reality is available to all believers.

We sometimes stop trusting God and go back to relying on our own plans, leading to a conflict with Him. God can use these conflicts to show us who the real enemy is. Like Jacob, we must hold on tightly to God during these difficult struggles.

God can meet us where we are, even when that place is a result of our bad choices. He promises to be with us, past, present, and future. To one degree or another, we are all in the shadow of death, but to know that He is with us gives us strength.

Be an encourager by giving people a chance, a second chance, and a chance even at your own expense. How do you respond to someone else's success. Can you see beyond others failures? Are you a builder or a wrecker? Be like Barnabas.

In spite of evil and deception, God's will prevails and the truth is revealed. Don't try to help God by using lies or manipulation. The Lord is sovereign and in the end, there is only God and His glory.

We need to take what we have and put it on the alter. Although this seems scary, remember that He is in charge and the odds are in His favor. God tells us to not be afraid because He is with us and will help us. He is our shield and our reward.

God tested Abraham and He tests us also to confirm our faith. When Satan tests us, he tries to make us fall. God does it for our benefit to show us how deep or shallow our faith is. Our faith must go deeper than just feelings and emotion.

God did in Sarah's life what was humanly impossible. Although it was a decade or more before God fulfilled His promise, He was faithful. God keeps His promises and He wants us to trust Him. Keep an eye on what He is doing in your life today.

Abraham expressed his faith through obedience and lived his life as a stranger on this Earth, not staying in a permanent residence, but always ready to move. He erected alters to the Lord as should we-places where we meet with God and submit to His will.

The Bible is a book of hope. It all comes back to putting our faith and trust in what Jesus has done. Without Him, there is no hope.

Obedience comes out of faith. We first believe, then we act. After 100 or more years of obedience, no one except Noah's family listened to him. Are we listening? Today few listen and even fewer believe that judgement is coming.

Walking with someone brings about fellowship and conversation therefore our walk with God should be a lifetime occupation. It should be obvious to others that we are spending time with Him. It pleases the Lord greatly when we walk with Him in faith.

God wants us to bring our gifts out of love not compulsion, and He wants us to bring Him our best. How we give is an indication of our hearts and when our hearts are not right, we are in a vulnerable position where sin can separate us from God.

Elijah prepared for the work he would do by being separated and doing what the Lord told him. Like Elijah, we have to listen and get to a place where we have an encounter with Him and hear His still, small voice. We find that voice in His Word.

The fall brought about a series of bad consequences including pain, suffering, and death. Although we face these difficulties, keeping Jesus as the center of our lives and relationships makes us new creations and restores our relationship with Him.

God only restricts those things that cause harm and death, but these are the very things the tempter brings to our attention. Satan questions the existence of God's commands, casts doubt on His motives, and denies the consequences of sin.

Missionaries returning from the mission field have challenges that are hard to imagine for those who have not gone through it. As a church, we can help to support these families as they go through reentry.

Regarding our wives, husbands should pay attention, listen, observe, and dwell. Husbands need to know their wives in great detail. We need to learn how to listen to more than the words being said. We are to live with our lives in every sense of the word.

God designed and created marriage for His purpose. Those that fail often do not have Jesus at their core. The only thing that makes a marriage work is loving Jesus more than your spouse. It is a God-given gift to treasure.

We were created for God and for His purposes. We are complex in form, from our hands down to a single hair or cell. These complexities are not the result of many gradual mutations, but the instantaneous work of a complex creator.
