Perfect Storm (“Lord, Don’t You Care?”) based on Mark 4:35-41 calls us to consider our struggles in life. As part of the package of living in this world are the turbulences we encounter, sometimes these troubles appear strange and out of this world but in the spiritual realm they are not designed to destroy us but to make us strong because a faith that has not been tested cannot be trusted. Are you in a storm of life at this very moment? You are not there by accident but by your Father’s design. He does not intend to hurt you even though you feel like shouting because your pain is so great. You are not alone though it feels that way now. I pray that this podcast blesses you.

The title of this Podcast is ‘Metanoia’ (repentance), based on Luke 13: 1-9 (a necessary change for Salvation) but what in the world is Metanoia? Metanoia is a transliteration of Ancient Greek word which means a “change in one's way of life resulting from penitence or spiritual conversion”. Some of you here today may have experienced Metanoia at one point or the other. I use this word instead of simple repentance for two reasons, 1. To engrave the word in your hearts because the act of repentance is key to the sustenance of our Christian faith, the word Metanoia is much more than just sorrow or grief or simply a change of mind it is the outcome of sincere regret of what had taken place occasioning from our experience of awe-inspiring spiritual conversion. 2. Because the word “repentance” is grossly misrepresented. This Podcast based on the Gospel of Luke 13:31-35 invites you to consider Jesus’ disposition in the face of intense hostility and confrontation from the powers that be, between the Secular and the Sacred. How did he stayed cool and collected? It was his confidence in his own undisputed identity. If only his twenty-first century followers will model their lives on such outstanding examples, then act of Christian living will be simpler.

Deuteronomy 26:1-11 deals with the act of remembrance and thanksgiving of what God has done in the life of the children of Israel. Giving thanks therefore is one of the most important cardinal points that defines God’s people, it distinguishes them from others who do not see the need to be thankful. The message of this chapter shapes our affection for God and draws us closer to God as we remember the work of God even in our lives. This understanding will help us resist the Devil.

Quest, not the Conquest (Deuteronomy 34:1-12) Most of us have discovered by now that life does not synchronise like Hollywood movies that can be reordered by the director, and even if it is a supernatural movie and you are member of the cast and crew then God is the Scriptwriter, Executive Producer and the Director, all these three ensures that there is a vision, and that the vision is cast properly and the distribution of the finished product is achieved.Moses’ mission was the expedition, not the destination. For him the meaning of his life was in the journey, not in achieving the destination, a strange trajectory is in choreographed society.

Exodus 34:29-35 and Luke 9:28-43A supernatural encounter with God is awe inspiring and has the potential to reform and transform our character, the two narratives we are going to read clearly desaturates that those who had these supernatural encounters with God were never the same again. In the same way if you have really really had an encounter with God you also will never remain the same again, this is the whole point of this podcast today. I pray that you will be blessed.

In post-modern world it is increasingly becoming difficult to know if someone believes in Jesus Christ. It is even worrying when those who should know don’t know. The thrust of this podcast is if you believe. Do you really believe in Jesus Christ? My hope is that this podcast will provoke you to think. God bless you.

Unreserved Grace to forgive (Genesis 45:3-11) calls us to the task of loving our enemies, yet such goodness is not easy to covet. The story of Joseph is a prime example then and now, his story begins in Genesis chapter thirty-seven when his own brothers, those he loved and should love him back sold him into slavery in Egypt for profit and it ended in chapter fifty, when he died. In Egypt Joseph was wrongfully accused and imprisoned, he was recognised in prison, forgotten in prison and subsequently release and elevated to a very prominent position in the country. Providence brought him face to face with his conspirators, in fact his brotherly enemies, those who wished him dead, those who sold him off and performed his funeral. What will you do and what will be your reaction if you were to be confronted with the reality such as this? Jesus Christ in (Luke 6:27-38) invites us into an entirely different appraisal of ourselves and to imagine a new possibility of Christian living by loving our enemies. To demonstra

Each year people make New Year Resolutions but fail to sustain them however, for Christians it is renewing covenant with God.

The title of this message is “Trusting and Obeying Jesus Christ’s command” (base on Isaiah 6:1-13 and Luke 5:1-11). I find this Old and New Testament text very interesting, the two aptly demonstrates the defects and shortcomings of our common humanity, Isaiah was confronted with the glory of God and was astonished by it, the disciples saw the miraculous and they were confounded by it. The God in Isaiah and the Jesus of Luke are still the same, what may not be the same however, is our response to the wonders of God that surrounds us.

My chosen text today is one of the most difficult-to-preach in a world that has suffered so greatly from godly spiritual erosion, but the Bible categorically states, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17) I believe that there are great life lessons we all can learn from these apparently difficult readings that seems to dwell very much on curse.Part of the questions we should be asking ourselves today is whether our own contexts in 2019 are any better than those from our readings. God’s word expressly said in Jeremiah 17:9 “The heart is the most deceitful thing there is and desperately wicked. No one can really know how bad it is”, so you see we are not spared at all simply because we are human beings.

The Church’s Spiritual Map PodcastWhere is the Church today on the Map? Christianity has been sacrificed on the altar of liberalism in the Global North and syncretism in the Global South. The true Church is gasping for oxygen and therefore need to retrace its steps to the beginning of beginning only then can these social onslaughts be contained.
