Moral issues aside this has had potentially devastating effects on the children involved. It’s extreme, but does it say something sinister about the way society sees ‘success’ and the long term effect it can have on our children’s mental health? We are joined by one of our resident expert advisor’s Christophe Sauerwein psychotherapist with a specialism in developmental trauma as well as Academic Director of iCAAD to discuss all the drivers, societal pressure, perfectionism and the long term effects this can have on a developing personality.     This week saw a second trial rule that the herbicide Glyphosate (one of the most prolifically used globally) contributed to a man’s cancer. This is just one example of how this may not be so safe and good for our health. Conception, pregnancy and early years is a particularly vulnerable time and there is credible research suggesting that too much exposure can increase risks around development and conception. We look some of the red flags raised by some very legitimate research (not funded by Monsanto). We also discuss what options you have (other than buying organically) to avoid too much exposure.
