Trish is a wife to Jamie and mom to two very active kiddos that keep her on her toes! She is Queen of All Things Baked and really should have her own television show!   After her previous career with a very long title and surely is only for those that are very smart (and French speaking), Trish found herself in ministry. Trish and Summer first became friends while working together in ministry and clicked as enneagram 8's long before they knew what that meant!   Trish opens up about her health journey that very unexpectedly changed her life at Christmas of 2017. She shares an earnest view of how seemingly devastating news is no match for God's tender love and mercy. Through her story, we see how a kind God places others in our path to support, care, and encourage us in our darkest times.   This girl is the friend everyone longs to have. We have no doubt that after you h

  • Episode 19: Summer Lee & Kayla McCoy

    19/07/2019 Duration: 41min

Friends, can you believe it? We are six months in to the Spoken Freely podcast! What started as a casual conversation in our office at work has turned into 19 episodes of friends gathering together to open their hearts and speak freely. Not hiding behind shame or concealing our difficult experiences, but embracing one another and extending grace and love.   Today's show is a little different because we are actually together recording in person! Normally we are across the country from one another, but this week, we spent time in laughter, silliness, and raw and honest conversation about what is going on in each other's lives. We thought this was the perfect episode to check-in at the six month mark and share what's on our hearts.   We encourage you to do the same! Grab a friend, new or old, and connect in your favorite way-coffee, lunch, or maybe a long walk. Create a safe space for vulnerability and spur one another on in love.
