Mr. Maniska spoke about opportunities for small groups to return for special activities such as IB testing but was not able to speak further about a larger return to campus. Mr. Maniska also spoke about the upcoming Annual Fund and the need for support and how the pandemic has impacted the school. Lincoln and Mr. Mondange explored the differences between the French and American electoral systems, recognizing the importance of the election process currently taking place here in the U.S. Thank you for listening!

Updates include widening of the gate entrance and updating of the parking lot flow pattern signage. The campus team is also using Halloween as a way to infuse some fun, especially for the 6th graders, into the school day on Friday. Activities will include costume and pumpkin carving contests. The change of the name is meant to reflect the evolution of the platform as well as a better representation of the many languages spoken among our families here at the International School of Los Angeles, currently 40 and counting! Mr Jean De Rivieres (LILA parent/SVP Ubisoft) joins us to give a little insight on his experience as an entertainment industry executive and a preview of what he will be presenting to the students next week during his Masterclass. It was incredibly interesting to hear him describe his time growing up in France eventually deciding to come to the United States for university as a scholarship athlete to play tennis.
