The words of Jesus are often quite shocking and offensive. After some hard words, many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed Him. But where else or to whom should we go? He alone has the words of eternal life.

Just as parts of your physical body are important for daily life, so also are your brothers and sisters in Christ, who are other parts of the Body of Christ. You are part of them, and they are part of you.

In a hurricane, the safest place is in the center, in the "eye". In the storms of life, Jesus is our safe place. He doesn't always calm the storm, but He's always right there with us. Mark 6:45-56

Even though Jesus and His apostles needed some rest, He had compassion on the crowds and taught them. No obstacle is too great for Jesus and His love for you.

Herod throws a birthday party for himself and is humiliated by his family. John the Baptist ends up 8lbs lighter. But Jesus reigns.

Some in the synagogue cast doubt on Jesus' parentage to discredit His message. If only they knew who He truly is.

As far as Jesus is concerned, there is no such thing as a lost cause.

Do you ever wonder if God cares about you at all? Jesus is with you throughout the storms of life.

We can't always see what's going on below the surface. But amazing things happen, often imperceptible to us.

The story of humanity would not have ended well, if not for Jesus.
