Ashalei Jackson, a military wife, married for 14 years and mom of 5 shares how her perspective began to change when she was a teen. She knew she wasn't like everyone else. After getting married at 20 her life began to transition when her husband was stationed in Louisiana. He had to deploy for 15 months leaving her pregnant and alone, she knew no one and had no one to turn too. As she was going through this transition, she faced a health scare when her young daughter became sick and It was during this time she realized that she had to become the woman she knew she was meant to be.
