Did you know there are over 2300 verses about money and possessions and what to do with them? That’s almost twice as much as faith and prayer combined.... There is a principle that we ALL must learn if we are going to function the way God intends for us to function in His kingdom! I’m not talking about the tithe today! The tithe (a tenth) is a timeless Kingdom principle. It was there before the law and the prophets and remains after. It is first and foremost an act of obedience. This principle if lived out will do so much more than change your financial situation...... it will change your life! You cannot believe Gods promises over your money until you practice God’s principles with your money!The Bible teaches us that money and resource is a SEED! Money is something with the potential to be something more! Today’s theme: The principle of sowing and reaping. I’d like to call this message.... The miracle of the motion! 

Have you realized we struggle to be good Neighbors these days! We used to welcome people into our homes with a smile!  Now it’s a federal offense when we don’t text before coming over!What does it look like to be a Neighbor!? Neighbors see the “other” half. – Luke 10:30.   The bible says that the bandits left the man “Half dead”.  Profound!   One of the problems the Priest and Levites had was that they were “Half sighted”! Yah, half sighted!   You may have heard of a condition called, far sighted? You see things far away better than close up?   Maybe you have heard of a condition called, near sighted? You see things better close up than far away?   Both of those are natural conditions. There is a spiritual condition that can affect our sight to .... Called HALF SIGHTED!   Half sightedness will cause you to see the half of people that is dead and ignore the half that’s not!  God is calling us to be a church that looks at people and sees the other half! – NEIGHBORS SEES THE OTHER HALF! 

Love Thy Neighborhood: Part 1Have you ever been bothered by people? The point is not preaching . . . its people. CFC doesn’t exist so that preachers have a platform! CFC exists for PEOPLE!The disciples thought the preaching was the point. They thought the gathering and the miracles, and the healing was the point. They thought it was about doing the motions and the religious activity! Once the time for activity ran out, they wanted to send the people away! The point is the people! We don’t want to send people away....We don’t want people out of our way, PEOPLE ARE THE POINT!

Matthew 4:23-25 NLT “Jesus traveled throughout the region of Galilee, teaching in the synagogues and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom. And he healed every kind of disease and illness. News about him spread as far as Syria, and people soon began bringing to him all who were sick. And whatever their sickness or disease, or if they were demon possessed or epileptic or paralyzed—he healed them all. Large crowds followed him wherever he went—people from Galilee, the Ten Towns, Jerusalem, from all over Judea, and from east of the Jordan River.” Today on every campus we would like to speak with you all about HEALING! Does God still heal ONE: Does God heal?Powerful reality: Sin is to the soul what sickness is to the body. Repeat!         Jesus paid for both.Sickness is no more our friend than sin is! We cannot treat it as a friend! Healing is not the whole gospel….. but the gospel is not complete without it. We must settle this

BE FILLEDPastor Jordan Hodges Ephesians 5:1-2 NLT: Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children. 2 Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God.ONE: You are what you’re full of. We are not what we DRESS like. We are not what we LOOK like! We are not what we POST like. Or even DRIVE like. According to Jesus the substance of a person is determined by what is on the inside of the person!TWO: You are changed by what you are full of. Every single one of us came to Jesus full of darkness! We had sin, failures, brokenness! You name it! But here is what religion tells you to do. Deal with the things that are in you! Get them out!THREE: You are as strong as what you are full of. Darkness is not actually a thing. Darkness is simply the absence of light.  So when we “filled with darkness” as the Apostle laid out what he is actually saying is this….. you were empty.

Luke 15: 20-26 NLT ONE: You don’t just have a HOMECOMING to a Father but to a family.TWO: It’s important that we live with a HOMECOMING heart.THREE: Everyone needs a HOMECOMING.Both sons had been living in the pig pen…The YOUNGER son had lived FAR FROM HOME separated from the father and the family… The OLDER son had lived IN THE HOME but had been separated from the Father and the family… We all need to be able to COME HOME to the heart of our Heavenly father and to belong in the Family of God. My prayer is that we will always be a family that celebrates those that are coming home…
