Following some back-and-forth on Twitter about the representation of one of her studies in the media, I invited her onto the show. Some of the topics covered in this conversation include the current scientific understanding of the effect our diet can have on our mental health, anti-depressant medications and the lack of lifestyle approaches to dealing with mental health, the results from her study of plant-based eaters and depression, and the media’s misrepresentation of the study’s results.
