Andres Guevara is a Colombian who emigrated to the wonderful city of Miami and set up a tattoo shop in the heart of the up and coming area of Allapattah Miami. We sat down with 2 creatives who are challenging the norms of film. Pedro Bello and Harrison Fishman just finished directing and animating South Florida rapper Fat Nick's new music video "New Opps". Through inventive animations they were able to express a unique visual language. They spoke to us about the challenges of having complete creative expression in college and attempting to adapt that to commercial work. Also, how competition fuels creativity among other things. Arbetter's Hot Dogs is a Miami staple. This year marks their 60th year in business and we couldn't be more proud. Being a creative in Miami is tough. We sat down with one of the dopest creatives in the city, Cyn Lagos. Her studies lead her to become a professional photographer and graphic designer. As described by the Miami New Times With reggaeton and Latin trap reaching new heights in mainstream popularity, it's only a matter of time before Miami produces a hitmaker to call its own within those genres. Colombiano James Lance has a good shot at being that artist. Since 2017, he's been working hard on pushing the local Latin-trap scene to the forefront. In this installment of Que Bola we had the pleasure of talking to 2 locals hustling in the jewelry world. Yohan and Onix started the jewelry design firm Yohan Rodrigani after many attempts in the industry. They shared their come-up story and dropped mad gems on us regarding the ins and out of jewelry design. Their success shows what persistence and patience can accomplish.
