Ken Miller Show With Trent Condon

Trent and Ken start up the 2nd hour with another look back at the Iowa State loss to Baylor and look to Iowa tonight on the road with Northwestern.  David Kaplan from NBC Sports Chicago talks Bears, Cubs, White Sox and Bulls and then Wade Lookingbill previews the Iowa/Northwestern game and talks about the best athletes he played against. 

The guys open up the show with the loss by Iowa State at Baylor and a look at ISU going forward. Mitch Sherman from ESPN.com stops in to talk college football and a look around the Big Ten and Vinnie Iyer from the Sporting News previews the divisional round of the NFL playoffs. 

Hour 2 starts up with a look to high school hoops starting tonight on 1460 KXnO, then the guys talk about the remaining NFL quarterbacks in the playoffs and rank them.  Zubin Mehenti from ESPN Sportscenter then stops by for a look around the world of sports from college football to the NFL and NBA.  The guys finish looking at college basketball for the night and Iowa State at Baylor. 

Ken and Trent open the show with a look back at the National Championship game as Clemson throttles Alabama and talks about the decisions from Iowa and Iowa State players to leave for the NFL.  Bama Bob drops by with thoughts on college football and the title game and Alex Halsted from Cyclone Alert talks ISU football and hoops. 

The guys start the 2nd hour talking Hawkeye football and basketball with Scott Dochterman from The Athletic, Jason Simbal with a look around the Vegas numbers and Bama Bob previews the National Championship game. 

Ken and Trent open the show with Scott Casper, then get into the weekend that was including the Bears falling to the Eagles in the Playoffs and the Cyclones win over Kansas in hoops. Bill Bender of the Sporting News checks in from Santa Clara for the National Championship game with a look around college football and Dylan Montz on the decision by David Montgomery to leave for the NFL, talk about the decision coming for Hakeem Butler and some basketball talk. 

The guys begin the 2nd hour talking about the ACL tear from Nick Norton of Drake, a little Iowa basketball and then their thoughts on the wild card NFL games. Paul Allen, the Voice of the Vikings, finishes up the Vikings season after the season ending loss to the Bears and Nick Athan talks about the bye week for the Chiefs. Then Claxon's Smokehouse giveaway before the final thoughts on the sports weekend. 

Ken and Trent open up the show talking about the rough night from Iowa basketball.  Tom Kakert of Hawkeye Report stops in for Iowa football and basketball talk and Dylan Montz gives the last look for Iowa State heading into the weekend. Frank Schwab from Yahoo Sports then talks NFL Playoffs with the wild card round upon us. 

The guys open up the 2nd hour talking Drake basketball with the knee injury to Nick Norton and then get into the NFL Playoffs. David Kaplan from ESPN 1000 & NBC Sports Chicago then joins to talk about the Cubs offseason, the Bears in the Playoffs and what went wrong for Fred Hoiberg in Chicago.  Then a breakdown of the Bears/Eagles playoff match up with Jeff Hughes from Da Bears Blog. 

Ken and Trent start up the 2nd hour talking about football coaching changes and college coaches saying no to the NFL overtures, then get into the Alamo Bowl and Cyclone basketball with Dylan Montz from the Ames Tribune before finishing with phone calls. 

Trent and Ken reunite after a few weeks off to talk about the transition over to 1460 KXNO, thoughts on Iowa and Iowa State basketball, the bowl games for the Cyclones and Hawkeyes and then a conversation with Lee Sterling from Paramount Sports with his 5 picks for the bowl season.

Trent begins the 2nd hour talking Hawkeyes with Dr. Steven Fuller during this week's Hawkeye Swarm, a look around Championship Week in college football with Bama Bob and then Trent makes his picks for the week.

The 2nd hour stats with college basketball talk with a look at exempt nonconference tournaments and the ACC/Big Ten Challenge with Chris Dobbertean from SB Nation, NFL talk with Yahoo Sports Frank Schwab and more.

Trent opens up the program with thoughts on the 2 game suspension on Iowa broadcaster Gary Dolphin from his comments, talks NFL with Vinnie Iyer and Steven M Sipple on the Cornhuskers loss to Iowa and the future of the program.

Trent opens the 2nd hour with thoughts on Texas/Oklahoma for the Big 12 title and the Horns Up/Down, Jon Miller from Hawkeye Nation talks Hawk football and basketball and a look around college football with The Sporting News' Bill Bender.

Trent is solo today and talks about the Iowa basketball win over Pitt in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge and the on air comments from Gary Dolphin on the Hawks in a negative light. John Walters joins the show to talk Iowa State football as they prepare for Drake, a look back at the win over Kansas State and some basketball and then brings his perspective to the Dolph situation as the Voice of the Cyclones.

Tim Yotter then drops by from Vikings Update to talk Minnesota football and a look to the playoff push and the match up this week against the Patriots on the road.
