The 2019 baseball season starts for real this week as Jack and Jeremy head out to their first live game action of the season and bring you a SUPER-SIZED episode! First the guys head to the southside to see the White Sox take on the Royals. It was barely 2 innings into the game when Jack and Jeremy got their first taste of classic White Sox rowdy fan behavior! They also answer some major cliffhangers from the 2018 season about the return of scorecards, the Big Fly, and Brewing with Ricky - and meet some new friends, like the Gangsta Beer Vendor! Then it was onto Wrigley to see the Cubs battle the Diamondbacks. It was a brutal windstorm and the guys barely made it out alive. Jack and Jeremy check in after one week of the 2019 MLB season. Jeremy laments Carl Edwards Jr. and the Chicago Cubs bullpen, Joe Maddon's future, and addresses how new Cubs pitching coach Tommy Hottovy is baseball Marc Trestman. Jack weighs in on his 2019 Brewers and Josh Hader's durability. And the guys look around the league to discuss Pete Alonso's debut, Noah Syndergaard's complaining, and potential 1st round pick Adley Rutschman of Oregon State's hot start to the college baseball season.

See who the guys pick to represent each jersey number and have them do battle in an ultimate tournament to see who is, um, the best...uniform...guy...? However it turns out, this is a fun one where the guys actually give their opinions on some of baseball's all-time greats and take a deep dive into their stats!

Can baseball hurry up and get here already?!? This week Jack and Jeremy try to kill the time by going back and re-evaluating Rookie of the Year voting from 2005 to 2015 to see if they got it right or overlooked a future Hall of Famer. At the top of the show, the guys pay tribute to a great comedian and baseball fan, Steven Brody Stevens, who passed away a few weeks ago. The countdown to the 2019 season is underway as Spring Training is starting up and Jack and Jeremy are here to take a look at some of the Non-Roster invitees. How else could the guys have an excuse to rag on some major leaguers hanging on by a thread so early in the season? Before that, Jack and Jeremy spend a little time weighing in on the Manny Machado signing and the futility of the White Sox's pursuit of him. Get excited, baseball is on the horizon!

This week Jack and Jeremy escape the polar vortex of Chicago all the way north to Caledonia, Wisconsin to see 17U high school prep baseball as the White Sox Amateur City Elite players take on the Class of 2020 Hitters baseball team! This is the same travel team that #6 pick Jarred Kelenic played on last year! The guys arrive at a wrong address for the facility and are creeped out by Wisconsin back roads - but finally make it to the right place! Tune in to their recap of this really fun, cool, and unique indoor winter baseball experience. There's some salty coach/umpire chirping, some impressive prospects, and some odd ground rules! Also, Jeremy clarifies the Sammy Sosa bad acting commercials he mentioned on last ep. They also touch briefly on an effective way for the Cubs to erase the stupid Joe Ricketts email leaks (hint: it involves signing Bryce Harper). This is a fun one - tune in!

Before the 2019 Hall of Fame voting results are announced, Jack and Jeremy chime in to run down the '19 ballot and give their votes for this year's class of baseball greats. Along the way you'll be treated to Jack and Jeremy's thoughts on allowing steroid players in the HOF, a throwback yelling at Lance Berkman story, and some vocal impressions of Sammy Sosa in his various commercial appearances. For this week's episode, Jack and Jeremy provide a very thorough recap of their viewing of the 1996 Tony Scott movie "The Fan" starring Robert De Niro and Wesley Snipes. As you can imagine, the guys have some choice criticism of this baseball movie masterpiece. They discuss the main character's odd obsession, not only with baseball, but also with the Rolling Stones, the classic theme of a young boy's fondness for knives, and the senseless murder of John Kruk in the movie's climactic final scene. Jack and Jeremy return to a game...a basketball game? That's right, Rain Delay Theater was in attendance at the United Center to see the one and only Chicago Bulls take on the Brooklyn Nets. There's plenty to talk about as the guys dive head first into Social Media Night, including lending their faces to a 3D CGI basketball dunking video (for real), photobombing the Bulls pregame show, and an awkward photo op in front of a video board. There's more goofy fans and a goofy usher to talk about, proving it just doesn't happen at baseball games. Let's face it, the guys can find annoyances wherever they go. We hear some of Jeremy's thoughts about why basketball frustrates him and Jack recounts an overheard story about a girl who passed on the chance to hook up with Rob Gronkowski. All this and more as the guys return to live game action on Rain Delay Theater!

This week, Jack and Jeremy run down their lists of baseball's naughty and nice and equate players to good or bad Christmas gifts. The 2018 baseball season has come to an end and in honor of the World Series (and Steve Pearce), we run down the list of the last 10 World Series Champs and pick the worst player on each 25 man World Series roster! Sorry 2016 Cubs Brian Matusz, you weren't eligible for this one! You ever see a fringe major leaguer and think "THAT guy has a World Series ring?!?" A last minute change of plans has Jack and Jeremy doing a 180 and heading north on the red line to Wrigley Field for Cubs/Pirates this week! Hear the story about how that happened and so much more! The guys finally encounter some goofballs in the crowd at Wrigley and a stressed out Jeremy is none too happy about it. Jack and Jeremy also report on an awkward first date a couple rows in front of them, a kid who kept staring at Jack, and three wandering fans that just couldn't find their seats.
