Off Duty Ads

**This episode likely won't be relevant by the time you listen to it...like most of our episodes, but even more so this time.   The Off Duty ADs return to the covid discussion as it relates to returning to competition this fall.  They also discuss a special guest to provide an update about loading dishwashers, missing Mike, missing Uncle Bill, lost sponsorship dollars, turmoil in Ohio, figuring out what competition might look like in the fall, a Tom Cruise sighting, a soccer kit sighting, and Batsquatch sighting.

The Off Duty ADs talk about summer coaching rules.  They also discuss Mike's pizza delivery resolution, Ryan's sanity, Mark's 4th of July standby beverage, requiring coaches to run camps, summer blackout dates, a poor list of sports movies, and the legacy of Bruce Brown from Ohio.

The Off Duty ADs talk about the future of amateurism in high school sports.  They also discuss a double dose of Uncle Bill, pizza delivery mistakes, sports academies, likeness contracts for high school kids, the history of the NFHS, medicinal beer, and how this was their worst episode ever.

Throwback from Oct. of 2018 - The Off Duty ADs revisit an earlier discussion about the future and growth of youth football with the Director of Coaching for USA Football, Mike Krueger.  Mike K. talks about being a Colorado implant to Indianapolis, brings us back to Bull Durham, and promotes Zombie Dust pale ale from Three Floyds Brewing in Munster; Mike promoted the ADM when he was coaching; Mark rants about various people seen at tournaments and shovels off a soccer field; and Ryan is missed.

The Off Duty ADs talk about what their time looks like at the end of a season.  Filmed before current spring sports suspensions, they also talk about the current way to load a dishwasher, saying things they probably shouldn't say out loud, balancing family conflicts, and the lack of importance to anything stated before the word "but."

The Off Duty ADs update everyone about what we're doing while spring competitions are still shut down.  They also discuss Uncle Bill and the Big Ten Minute, food distribution, online professional development, coaches connecting with kids, ADs connecting with coaches, the return of sports, boredom with classic games, and a beverage fit for a campfire. 

In a rare bonus episode that was delayed by Covid 19 and now won't make any sense, the Off Duty ADs talk about starting their spring seasons.  They also discuss a completely irrelevant Big 10 Minute, a completely irrelevant NCAA basketball and hockey tournament, our first mentions of Covid 19 on this podcast - which are now irrelevant, Uncle Bill, scheduling gym time for spring sports, spring in ND, shared usage agreements, Ryan's baseball fields, Summit Brewing IPA sampler, and Mike tries a new sign-off.
