John Casey shares what it means to belong to a family and to God's church. Specifically he sets the scene for us to begin to discover what the advantages would be to recongising that we are part of a church family and being able to know who else is in this family with us. John discusses City Church Leeds and membership.

John opens up Genesis 11:27 though to the start of Genesis 12 and relates the journey that Abram (Abraham) took to our present journey as City Church Leeds.

When we read about the armour of God in Ephesians 6 we should absolutely be reminded that what we're talking about here aren't just some nice ways to talk about truth and righteousnesses and prayer, but Paul is saying look at what you now have access to because of the covenant relationship we can have with Father-God. Because this is His armour we now have the very tools and skills of God Himself! Everything He has is now at our disposal.

Mark Kelly challenges us in this latest talk on Ephesians (chapter 5) to take responsibility for our lives in the Chronos (a period, duration) so that God is able to bring us Kairos (immediate, special and specific) opportunities that we are not too busy or stressed to seize.

Mark Kelly shares openingly and transparantly of the issues that both himself and the congregation face as we enter 'the next phase' in the life of City Church Leeds. However in all the issues that we may face we realise that we have an amazing God who is for us and not against us! Mark also shares passionately the desire for us all to experience the manifest present of God.

In times of transition things are always at their weakest and most vulnerable. John Casey lays some Biblical foundations to help the City Church Leeds family through the next phase of change.

As we ‘put off’ old thought patterns and discard them, the Holy Spirit rebuilds our thoughts around Christ and His precepts - His commandments and directives.

We begin our series on the letter to the Ephesians with a hope to underline the message that we have an inheritance 'in Christ'. Often however we’re not accessing and utilising this inheritance because we don't feel worthy or accepted. Listen to this talk and believe that you ARE accepted in the Beloved!
