Dr. Holtz is the author of, “Ten Ways to Reduce Stress and Anxiety,” a practical booklet on identifying and reducing anxiety. His articles and workshops have been featured on NEWS 12 and in NEWSDAY.

Aurora Workman, President of the NCC Alumni Association, and Dr. Lynnda Nadien, talk with Jason Kahn, who got his start as a student at Nassau Community College in 2005 working for 90.3 WHPC and writing for The Vignette. Jason is an on-air personality at News 12 New Jersey. He's reported on professional teams like the Jets and Giants, but also finds stories in local communities. Jason has won an Edward R. Murrow Award and several Associated Press Awards.

Aurora Workman, President of the NCC Alumni Association, and Dr. Lynnda Nadien, talk with Jaslin Kaur, Class of 2017, who earned an Associate of Arts in Multidisciplinary Studies from Nassau Community College. Ms. Kaur is the Co-Founder of Refugirl, a mentorship organization geared towards leadership and sisterhood for young refugee women and girls in New York City. Jaslin is a proud Alumni of Nassau Community College.

Pat first enrolled in January of 1980, she took 3 classes that year and did not return until 37 years later and successfully finished by earning her Associates Degree in Fashion Buying & Merchandise. Pat is a proud Alumni of Nassau Community College.

Prof. Urso developed The Wine and Spirits Program and is a proud Alumni of Nassau Community College.

Corrinne Graham was named Long Island Business News Top 50 Most Influential Women in Business; Diversity in Business Awards and Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprises, and a proud graduate of Nassau Community College!

Dottie is well versed in various areas of holistic health, including an array of therapies, iridology, reflexology, and advanced Pranic Healing Reiki. She says Nassau Community College was the foundation that put her on the path of health and wellness.

She is also a Physical Education Teacher at Roosevelt Jr. Sr. High School, and currently a doctoral student. Leslie is also a former board member of the Alumni Association of Nassau Community College.
