After giving Veloc1raptor some crap about getting hit by a stylish Infiltration combo at NCR, we recap the weekend's action. We then talk about all of the fallout from NCR 2018: death brackets, Sp00ky's decision to go with sub-only chat on Sundays, the MenaRD/Caba/crowd noise controversy, and more. We then share our opinions on the latest patch notes for Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition. The final half-hour of the show is an interview with Super Arcade owner Mike Watson. We talk to him about his long path to reopening his arcade, how his offering differs from Wednesday Night Fights, his views on the current state of the FGC, and more.

We then talk about the return of the Killer Instinct Ultra Tour and cover some player free agency news. Next is our reaction to the massive 19-game AnimEVO 2018 lineup. The second half of the show focuses on three big events that drove the conversation about the role of esports in the FGC: the SonicFox/Go1 rematch at Esports Arena, the apparent end of the Final Round tournament series, and Mike Ross' explosive Reddit AMA.

Best of V - February 20, 2018 - CPT 2018 talk In the first half of our show, we discuss Eleague's jump into the Tekken scene, the finalized pricing structure of BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle, and our thoughts on the possibility of future Guilty Gear games becoming more simplified. Our second half is a deep discussion of our thoughts on the recently-announced changed to the Capcom Pro Tour's structure for the 2018 season and what it could mean for the future of the FGC.
